1“AllH3605 the commandmentsH4687 that I am commandingH6680 you todayH3117 you shall beH8104 carefulH8104 to doH6213, soH4616 thatH4616 you 1may liveH2421 and increaseH7235, and goH935 inH935 and takeH3423 possessionH3423 of the landH776 whichH834 the LordH3068 sworeH7650 to give to your forefathersH1. 22And you shall rememberH2142 allH3605 the wayH1870 whichH834 the LordH3068 your GodH430 has 3ledH1980 you in the wildernessH4057 theseH2088 fortyH705 yearsH8141, inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 humbleH6031 you, 4puttingH5254 you toH5254 theH5254 testH5254, to knowH3045 whatH834 was in your heartH3824, whether you would keepH8104 His commandmentsH4687 orH518 not. 3And He humbledH6031 you and let you goH7456 hungryH7456, and fedH398 you with the mannaH4478 whichH834 you did not knowH3045, norH3808 did your fathersH1 knowH3045, inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 make you 5understandH3045 that 6manH120 shall not liveH2421 on breadH3899 aloneH905, but manH120 shall liveH2421 on everythingH3605 that comesH4161 out of the mouthH6310 of the LordH3068. 47Your clothingH8071 did not wearH1086 outH1086 on you, norH3808 did your footH7272 swellH1216 theseH2088 fortyH705 yearsH8141. 58So you are to knowH3045 in your heartH3824 that the LordH3068 your GodH430 was discipliningH3256 you justH3512 asH3512 a manH376 disciplinesH3256 his sonH1121. 6Therefore, you shall keepH8104 the commandmentsH4687 of the LordH3068 your GodH430, to walkH1980 in His waysH1870 and to 9fearH3372 Him. 7For 10the LordH3068 your GodH430 is bringingH935 you into a goodH2896 landH776, a landH776 of streamsH5158 of waterH4325, of fountainsH5871 and springsH8415, flowingH3318 outH3318 in valleysH1237 and hillsH2022; 8a landH776 of wheatH2406 and barleyH8184, of vinesH1612, figH8384 treesH8384, and pomegranatesH7416, a landH776 of oliveH2132 oilH8081 and honeyH1706; 9a landH776 whereH834 you will eatH398 foodH3899 withoutH3808 shortageH4544, in which you will not lackH2637 anythingH3605; a landH776 whoseH834 stonesH68 are ironH1270, and out of whose hillsH2022 you can digH2672 copperH5178. 10When 11you have eatenH398 and areH7646 satisfiedH7646, you shall blessH1288 the LordH3068 your GodH430 for the goodH2896 landH776 whichH834 He has givenH5414 you.
11“BeH8104 carefulH8104 that you do not 12forgetH7911 the LordH3068 your GodH430 by failingH1115 to keepH8104 His commandmentsH4687, His ordinancesH4941, and His statutesH2708 whichH834 I am commandingH6680 you todayH3117; 12otherwiseH6435, 13when you eatH398 and areH7646 satisfiedH7646, and you buildH1129 goodH2896 housesH1004 and liveH3427 in them, 13and when your herdsH1241 and your flocksH6629 increaseH7235, and your silverH3701 and goldH2091 increaseH7235, and everythingH3605 that you have increasesH7235, 14then your heartH3824 will 14becomeH7311 proudH7311 and you will 15forgetH7911 the LordH3068 your GodH430 who broughtH3318 you outH3318 of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, out of the houseH1004 of 16slaveryH5650; 15He who ledH1980 you through 17the greatH1419 and terribleH3372 wildernessH4057, with its 18fieryH8314 serpentsH8314 and scorpionsH6137, and its thirstyH6774 groundH6774 whereH834 thereH369 wasH369 noH369 waterH4325; He who 19broughtH3318 waterH4325 for you outH3318 of the rockH6697 of flintH2496. 16In the wildernessH4057 it was He who fedH398 you mannaH4478 20whichH834 your fathersH1 did not knowH3045, inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 humbleH6031 you and inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 21putH5254 you toH5254 theH5254 testH5254, to doH3190 goodH3190 for you 22in the endH319. 17Otherwise, 23you may sayH559 in your heartH3824, ‘My powerH3581 and the strengthH6108 of my handH3027 madeH6213 me thisH2088 wealthH2428.’ 18But you are to rememberH2142 the LordH3068 your GodH430, for 24it is He who is givingH5414 you powerH3581 to makeH6213 wealthH2428, inH4616 orderH4616 toH4616 confirmH6965 His covenantH1285 whichH834 He sworeH7650 to your fathersH1, as it is thisH2088 dayH3117. 19And it shall comeH1961 aboutH1961, ifH518 you everH7911 forgetH7911 the LordH3068 your GodH430 and followH1980H310 otherH312 godsH430 and serveH5647 and worshipH2331 them, 25I testifyH5749 against you todayH3117 that you will certainlyH6 perishH6. 20Like the nationsH1471 that the LordH3068 eliminatesH6 from you, soH3651 26you shall perishH6, becauseH6118 you would not listenH8085 to the voiceH6963 of the LordH3068 your GodH430.
