1 Samuel 28:11-20
11Then the womanH802 saidH559, “WhomH4310 shall I bringH5927 upH5927 for you?” And he saidH559, “BringH5927 upH5927 SamuelH8050 for me.” 12When the womanH802 sawH7200 SamuelH8050, she criedH2199 outH2199 with a loudH1419 voiceH6963; and the womanH802 spokeH559 to SaulH7586, sayingH559, “WhyH4100 have you deceivedH7411 me? For you are SaulH7586!” 13But the kingH4428 saidH559 to her, “Do not beH3372 afraidH3372; but whatH4100 do you seeH7200?” And the womanH802 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “I seeH7200 a 1divineH430 beingH430 comingH5927 upH5927 from the earthH776.” 14He saidH559 to her, “2HowH4100 does he appearH8389?” And she saidH559, “An oldH2205 manH376 is comingH5927 upH5927, and 3he is wrappedH5844 in a robeH4598.” Then SaulH7586 knewH3045 that it was SamuelH8050, and 4he bowedH6915 with his faceH639 to the groundH776 and paidH2331 5homageH2331.
15And SamuelH8050 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “WhyH4100 have you disturbedH7264 me by bringingH5927 me upH5927?” SaulH7586 repliedH559, “I amH6887 veryH3966 distressedH6887, for the PhilistinesH6430 are wagingH3898 warH3898 against me, and 6GodH430 has abandonedH5493 me and 7noH3808 longerH5750 answersH6030 me, eitherH1571 throughH3027 prophetsH5030 orH1571 in dreamsH2472; therefore I have calledH7121 you, so that you may letH3045 me knowH3045 whatH4100 I should doH6213.” 16SamuelH8050 saidH559, “But whyH4100 askH7592 me, since the LordH3068 has abandonedH5493 you and has becomeH1961 your enemyH6145? 17And the LordH3068 has doneH6213 8justH3512 9as He spokeH1696 throughH3027 me; for the LordH3068 has tornH7167 the kingdomH4467 from your handH3027 and givenH5414 it to your neighborH7453, to DavidH1732. 18JustH3512 asH3512 10you did not 11obeyH8085H6963 the LordH3068 and did not executeH6213 His fierceH2740 wrathH639 on AmalekH6002, soH5921H3651 the LordH3068 has doneH6213 thisH2088 thingH1697 to you thisH2088 dayH3117. 19Furthermore, the LordH3068 will alsoH1571 handH5414H3027 IsraelH3478 alongH5973 withH5973 you overH5414 to the PhilistinesH6430; so tomorrowH4279 12you and your sonsH1121 will be with me. IndeedH1571, the LordH3068 will handH5414H3027 the armyH4264 of IsraelH3478 overH5414 to the PhilistinesH6430!”
20Then SaulH7586 immediatelyH4116 fellH5307 fullH4393 lengthH6967 to the groundH776 and wasH3372 veryH3966 afraidH3372 becauseH4480 of Samuel’sH8050 wordsH1697; there was noH3808 strengthH3581 in him eitherH1571, becauseH3588 he had eatenH398 noH3808 13foodH3899 allH3605 dayH3117 and allH3605 nightH3915.
