1 Samuel 28:11-20
11Then the womanH802 saidH559, “WhomH4310 shall I bringH5927 up for you?” And he saidH559, “BringH5927 up SamuelH8050 for me.” 12When the womanH802 sawH7200 SamuelH8050, she criedH2199 out with a loudH1419 voiceH6963; and the womanH802 spokeH559 to SaulH7586, sayingH559, “WhyH4100 have you deceivedH7411 me? For you are SaulH7586.” 13The kingH4428 saidH559 to her, “Do not be afraidH3372; but whatH4100 do you seeH7200?” And the womanH802 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “I seeH7200 a 1divineH430 beingH430 comingH5927 up out of the earthH776.” 14He saidH559 to her, “WhatH4100 is his formH8389?” And she saidH559, “An oldH2205 manH376 is comingH5927 up, and 2he is wrappedH5844 with a robeH4598.” And SaulH7586 knewH3045 that it was SamuelH8050, and 3he bowedH6915 with his faceH639 to the groundH776 and did homageH7812.
15Then SamuelH8050 saidH559 to SaulH7586, “WhyH4100 have you disturbedH7264 me by bringingH5927 me up?” And SaulH7586 answeredH6030, “I am greatlyH3966 distressedH6887; for the PhilistinesH6430 are wagingH3898 warH3898 against me, and 4GodH430 has departedH5493 from me and 5noH3808 longerH5750 answersH6030 me, eitherH1571 throughH3027 prophetsH5030 orH1571 by dreamsH2472; therefore I have calledH7121 you, that you may makeH3045 knownH3045 to me whatH4100 I should doH6213.” 16SamuelH8050 saidH559, “WhyH4100 then do you askH7592 me, since the LordH3068 has departedH5493 from you and has becomeH1961 your adversaryH6145? 17The LordH3068 has doneH6213 6accordinglyH3512 7as He spokeH1696 throughH3027 me; for the LordH3068 has tornH7167 the kingdomH4467 out of your handH3027 and givenH5414 it to your neighborH7453, to DavidH1732. 18As 8you did not 9obeyH8085H6963 the LordH3068 and did not executeH6213 His fierceH2740 wrathH639 on AmalekH6002, soH5921H3651 the LordH3068 has doneH6213 thisH2088 thingH1697 to you thisH2088 dayH3117. 19Moreover the LordH3068 will alsoH1571 giveH5414 over IsraelH3478 alongH5973 with you into the handsH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430, therefore tomorrowH4279 10you and your sonsH1121 will be with me. IndeedH1571 the LordH3068 will giveH5414 over the armyH4264 of IsraelH3478 into the handsH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430!”
20Then SaulH7586 immediatelyH4116 fellH5307 fullH4393 lengthH6967 upon the groundH776 and was veryH3966 afraidH3372 becauseH4480 of the wordsH1697 of SamuelH8050; alsoH1571 there was noH3808 strengthH3581 in him, for he had eatenH398 noH3808 11foodH3899 allH3605 dayH3117 and allH3605 nightH3915.
