7When HiramH2438 heardH8085 the wordsH1697 of SolomonH8010, he greatlyH3966 rejoicedH8055; and he saidH559, “BlessedH1288 be the LordH3068 todayH3117, whoH834 has givenH5414 to DavidH1732 a wiseH2450 sonH1121 overH5921 thisH2088 greatH7227 peopleH5971.” 8So HiramH2438 sentH7971 word to SolomonH8010, sayingH559, “I have heardH8085 the message whichH834 you sentH7971 me; I will doH6213 everythingH3605 you wishH2656 concerning the cedarH730 and juniperH1265 timberH6086. 9My servantsH5650 will bringH3381 the timbers downH3381 from LebanonH3844 to the seaH3220; and I will have them madeH7760 into raftsH1702 to go by seaH3220 12to the placeH4725 whereH834 you 13directH7971 me, and I will have them brokenH5310 upH5310 thereH8033, and you will carryH5375 them away. Then 14you shall doH6213 whatH2656 I wishH2656, by givingH5414 foodH3899 to my householdH1004.” 10So 15HiramH2438 16gaveH5414 SolomonH8010 allH3605 that he wishedH2656 of the cedarH730 and juniperH1265 timberH6086. 1117SolomonH8010 then gaveH5414 18HiramH2438 19twentyH6242 thousandH505 korsH3734 of wheatH2406 as foodH4361 for his householdH1004, and 20twentyH6242 korsH3734 of pureH3795 oilH8081; thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 SolomonH8010 would giveH5414 HiramH2438 yearH8141 by yearH8141. 12And 21the LordH3068 gaveH5414 wisdomH2451 to SolomonH8010, justH3512 asH3512 He 22promisedH1696 him; and there was peaceH7965 betweenH996 HiramH2438 and SolomonH8010, and the twoH8147 of them madeH3772 a covenantH1285.

13Now 23KingH4428 SolomonH8010 24conscriptedH5927 forcedH4522 laborersH4522 from allH3605 IsraelH3478; and the forcedH4522 laborersH4522 numbered thirtyH7970 thousandH505 menH376. 14Then he sentH7971 them to LebanonH3844, tenH6235 thousandH505 a monthH2320 in shiftsH2487; they were in LebanonH3844 for a monthH2320, and twoH8147 monthsH2320 at homeH1004. And 25AdoniramH141 was inH5921 chargeH5921 ofH5921 the forcedH4522 laborersH4522. 15Now 26SolomonH8010 hadH1961 seventyH7657 thousandH505 portersH5449H5375, and eightyH8084 thousandH505 stonemasonsH2672 in the mountainsH2022, 1627besidesH905H4480 Solomon’sH8010 3,300H7969H505H3967 chiefH8269 deputiesH5324 whoH834 were inH5921 chargeH5921 ofH5921 the 28projectH4399 and ruledH7287 over the peopleH5971 who were doingH6213 the workH4399. 17Then 29the kingH4428 issuedH6680 ordersH6680, and they quarriedH5265 largeH1419 stonesH68, valuableH3368 stonesH68, to layH3245 the foundationH3245 of the houseH1004 with cutH1496 stonesH68. 18So Solomon’sH8010 buildersH1129 and 30Hiram’sH2438 buildersH1129 and 31the GebalitesH1382 32cutH6458 the stones, and they preparedH3559 the timbersH6086 and the stonesH68 to buildH1129 the houseH1004.
