1 Corinthians 11:23-28

23For 1I receivedG3880 from the LordG2962 that whichG3739 I alsoG2532 deliveredG3860 to you, that 2the LordG2962 JesusG2424, on the nightG3571 whenG3739 He was betrayedG3860, tookG2983 breadG740; 24and when He had givenG2168 thanksG2168, He brokeG2806 it and saidG3004, “ThisG3778 is My bodyG4983, which is for you; doG4160 thisG3778 in remembranceG364 of Me.” 25In the sameG5615 wayG5615 He alsoG2532 took 3the cupG4221 afterG3326 supperG1172, sayingG3004, “ThisG3778 cupG4221 is the 4newG2537 covenantG1242 in My bloodG129; doG4160 thisG3778, as oftenG3740 as you drinkG4095 it, in remembranceG364 of Me.” 26For as oftenG3740 as you eatG2068 thisG3778 breadG740 and drinkG4095 the cupG4221, you proclaimG2605 the Lord’sG2962 deathG2288 5untilG891 He comesG2064.

27ThereforeG5620 whoeverG3739G302 eatsG2068 the breadG740 orG2228 drinksG4095 the cupG4221 of the LordG2962 in an unworthyG371 wayG371, shall be 6guiltyG1777 of the bodyG4983 and the bloodG129 of the LordG2962. 28But a personG444 must 7examineG1381 himselfG1438, and inG3779 soG3779 doingG3779 he is to eatG2068 of the breadG740 and drinkG4095 of the cupG4221.
