3The sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478criedH6817outH6817to the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068;for he had nineתְּשַׁ֨עte.Sha'H8672hundredמֵא֤וֹתme.'otH3967ironבַּרְזֶל֙bar.ZelH1270chariotsרֶֽכֶב־re.khev-H7393,and he oppressedלָחַ֞ץla.ChatzH3905the sonsבְּנֵ֧יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478severelyבְּחָזְקָ֖הbe.cha.ze.KahH2394for twentyעֶשְׂרִ֥ים'es.RimH6242yearsשָׁנָֽה׃ סsha.NahH8141.

4Now Deborahוּדְבוֹרָה֙u.de.vo.RahH1683, aprophetessנְבִיאָ֔הne.vi.'AhH5031,the wifeH802of Lappidothלַפִּיד֑וֹתla.pi.DotH3941,was judgingשֹׁפְטָ֥הsho.fe.TahH8199Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478at that timeבָּעֵ֥תba.'EtH6256.

5She used tositיוֹשֶׁ֨בֶתyo.She.vetH3427underתַּֽחַת־ta.chat-H8478thepalmH8560treeH8560of Deborahדְּבוֹרָ֗הde.vo.RahH1683betweenH996Ramahהָרָמָ֛הha.ra.MahH7414and BethelH1008in the hillבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022countryH2022of Ephraimאֶפְרָ֑יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669;and the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478wentH5927upH5927to her for judgmentלַמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃la.mish.PatH4941.

6Now she sentוַתִּשְׁלַ֗חva.tish.LachH7971wordand summonedוַתִּקְרָא֙va.tik.Ra'H7121Barakלְבָרָ֣קle.va.RakH1301the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Abinoamאֲבִינֹ֔עַם'a.vi.No.'amH42from Kedesh-naphtaliמִקֶּ֖דֶשׁ נַפְתָּלִ֑יmi.Ke.desh naf.ta.LiH6943 H5321,and saidוַתֹּ֨אמֶרva.To.merH559to him, “The Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵֽי־'e.lo.hei-H430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478,has indeed commandedצִוָּ֣ה׀tzi.VahH6680, ‘Goלֵ֤ךְlekhH1980and marchוּמָֽשַׁכְתָּ֙u.ma.shakh.TaH4900to Mountבְּהַ֣רbe.HarH2022Taborתָּב֔וֹרta.VorH8396,and takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֣ve.la.kach.TaH3947with you tenעֲשֶׂ֤רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאֲלָפִים֙'a.la.FimH505menאִ֔ישׁ'IshH376from the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִ֖יnaf.ta.LiH5321and from the sonsוּמִבְּנֵ֥יu.mi.be.NeiH1121of Zebulunזְבֻלֽוּן׃ze.vu.LunH2074.

7I will drawוּמָשַׁכְתִּ֨יu.ma.shakh.TiH4900outH4900to you Siseraסִֽיסְרָא֙si.se.Ra'H5516,the commanderשַׂר־sar-H8269of Jabin’sיָבִ֔יןya.VinH2985armyצְבָ֣אtze.Va'H6635,with his chariotsרִכְבּ֖וֹrikh.BoH7393and hismanyהֲמוֹנ֑וֹha.mo.NoH1995troopsto the riverנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158Kishonקִישׁ֗וֹןki.ShonH7028, andI will handבְּיָדֶֽךָ׃be.ya.De.khaH5414 H3027him overH5414to you.’”

8Then Barakבָּרָ֔קba.RakH1301saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to her, “Ifאִם־'im-H518you will goתֵּלְכִ֥יte.le.KhiH1980with me, then I will goוְהָלָ֑כְתִּיve.ha.La.khe.tiH1980;but ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you will not goתֵלְכִ֛יte.le.KhiH1980with me, I will not goאֵלֵֽךְ׃'e.LekhH1980.”

9She saidוַתֹּ֜אמֶרva.To.merH559, “I will certainlyהָלֹ֧ךְha.LokhH1980goאֵלֵ֣ךְ'e.LekhH1980with you; howeverאֶ֚פֶס'E.fesH657 H3588,the fameתִּֽפְאַרְתְּךָ֗tif.'ar.te.KhaH8597shall not be yours on the journeyהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870that you are about to takeהוֹלֵ֔ךְho.LekhH1980,for the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068will sellיִמְכֹּ֥רyim.KorH4376Siseraסִֽיסְרָ֑אsis.Ra'H5516into the handבְֽיַד־ve.yad-H3027of a womanאִשָּׁ֔ה'i.ShahH802.”Then Deborahדְּבוֹרָ֛הde.vo.RahH1683gotH6965upH6965and wentוַתֵּ֥לֶךva.Te.lekhH1980with Barakבָּרָ֖קba.RakH1301to Kedeshקֶֽדְשָׁה׃Ked.shahH6943.

10Barakבָּרָ֜קba.RakH1301summonedוַיַּזְעֵ֨קvai.yaz.'EkH2199Zebulunזְבוּלֻ֤ןze.vu.LunH2074and Naphtaliנַפְתָּלִי֙naf.ta.LiH5321to Kedeshקֶ֔דְשָׁהKed.shahH6943,and tenעֲשֶׂ֥רֶת'a.Se.retH6235thousandאַלְפֵ֖י'al.FeiH505menאִ֑ישׁ'IshH376wentH5927upH5927with him; Deborahדְּבוֹרָֽה׃de.vo.RahH1683also wentH5927upH5927with him.

11Now Heberוְחֶ֤בֶרve.Che.verH2268the Keniteהַקֵּינִי֙ha.kei.NiH7017had separatedנִפְרָ֣דnif.RadH6504himself from the Kenitesמִקַּ֔יִןmi.Ka.yinH7014,from the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of Hobabחֹבָ֖בcho.VavH2246thefather-in-lawH2860of Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872,and had pitchedוַיֵּ֣טvai.YetH5186his tentאָהֳל֔וֹ'o.ho.LoH168as farעַד־'ad-H5704away as theoakאֵל֥וֹן'e.LonH436inZaanannimבְּצַעֲנַנִּ֖יםbatz.'a.nimH6815,whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is nearאֶת־'et-H854Kedeshקֶֽדֶשׁ׃Ke.deshH6943.
