8While I was thinkingמִשְׂתַּכַּ֨לmis.ta.KalH7920about the hornsבְּקַרְנַיָּ֗אbe.kar.nai.Ya'H7162,beholdוַ֠אֲלוּVa.'a.luH431,anotherH321hornקֶ֣רֶןKe.renH7162,a littleH2192oneH2192,cameH5559upH5559amongבֵּֽינֵיהֵ֔ןbei.nei.honH997them, and threeוּתְלָ֗תu.te.LatH8532of the previousקַדְמָ֣יָתָ֔אkad.Ma.ya.Ta'H6933hornsקַרְנַיָּא֙kar.nai.Ya'H7162were pluckedH6132outH6132beforeקֳדָמַ֑הּko.da.mai.yahH4481 H6925it; and beholdוַאֲל֨וּva.'a.LuH431,thisדָ֔אDa'H1668hornבְּקַרְנָא־be.kar.na-'H7162possessed eyesעַיְנִ֜ין'ay.NinH5870like humanאֲנָשָׁא֙'a.na.Sha'H606eyesכְּעַיְנֵ֤יke.'ay.NeiH5870, anda mouthוּפֻ֖םu.FumH6433utteringמְמַלִּ֥לme.ma.LilH4449greatH7229boasts.

9“I keptהֲוֵ֗יתha.VeitH1934lookingחָזֵ֣הcha.ZehH2370Untilעַ֣ד'adH5705 H1768thronesכָרְסָוָן֙kha.re.sa.VanH3764were setרְמִ֔יוre.MivH7412up,And the Ancientוְעַתִּ֥יקve.'a.TikH6268of Daysיוֹמִ֖יןyo.MinH3118tookH3488HisseatH3488; Hisgarmentלְבוּשֵׁ֣הּ׀le.vu.ShehH3831waswhiteחִוָּ֗רchi.VarH2358as snowכִּתְלַ֣גkit.LagH8517, And thehairוּשְׂעַ֤רu.se.'ArH8177of His headרֵאשֵׁהּ֙re.ShehH7217like pureנְקֵ֔אne.Ke'H5343woolכַּעֲמַ֣רka.'a.MarH6015. Histhroneכָּרְסְיֵהּ֙ka.re.se.YehH3764wasablazeנ֔וּרNurH5135with flamesשְׁבִיבִ֣יןshe.vi.VinH7631, Itswheelsגַּלְגִּלּ֖וֹהִיgal.gi.Lo.hiH1535werea burningדָּלִֽק׃da.LikH1815fireנ֥וּרnurH5135.

12As for the restוּשְׁאָר֙u.she.'ArH7606of the beastsחֵֽיוָתָ֔אchei.va.Ta'H2423,their dominionשָׁלְטָנְה֑וֹןshal.ta.ne.HonH7985was takenH5709awayH5709,but an extensionוְאַרְכָ֧הve.'ar.KhahH754of lifeבְחַיִּ֛יןve.chai.YinH2417was grantedיְהִ֥יבַתye.HivatH3052to them for an appointedH2166periodH2166of timeוְעִדָּֽן׃ve.'i.DanH5732.

15“As for me, Danielדָנִיֵּ֖אלda.ni.YelH1841,my spiritרוּחִ֛יru.ChiH7308was distressedאֶתְכְּרִיַּ֥ת'et.ke.ri.YatH3735withinבְּג֣וֹאbe.Go'H1459me, and thevisionsוְחֶזְוֵ֥יve.chez.VeiH2376in my mindרֵאשִׁ֖יre.ShiH7217keptalarmingיְבַהֲלֻנַּֽנִי׃ye.va.ha.lu.Na.niH927me.

16I approachedקִרְבֵ֗תkir.VetH7127oneחַד֙chadH2298of those who werestandingקָ֣אֲמַיָּ֔אka.'a.mai.Ya'H6966by and began requestingאֶבְעֵֽא־'ev.'e'-H1156of him theexactH3330meaningH3330of allכָּל־kol-H3606thisדְּנָ֑הde.NahH1836. So hetoldוַאֲמַר־va.'a.mar-H560me and madeH3046knownH3046to me the interpretationוּפְשַׁ֥רu.fe.SharH6591of these thingsמִלַּיָּ֖אmi.lai.Ya'H4406:

18But thesaintsקַדִּישֵׁ֖יka.di.SheiH6922of the HighestH5946OneH5946willreceiveוִֽיקַבְּלוּן֙vi.ka.be.LunH6902the kingdomמַלְכוּתָ֔אmal.khu.Ta'H4437and takeH2631possessionוְיַחְסְנ֤וּןve.yach.se.NunH2631of the kingdomמַלְכוּתָא֙mal.khu.Ta'H4437foreverH5957,for allH5957agesH5957toH5957comeH5957.’

20and the meaningof the tenעֲשַׂר֙'a.SarH6236hornsקַרְנַיָּ֤אkar.nai.Ya'H7162that wereon its headבְרֵאשַׁ֔הּve.re.ShahH7217,and the otherH321hornwhichH1768cameH5559upH5559,and beforeמִן־ קֳדָמַ֖הּmin- ko.da.mai.yahH4481 H6925which threeתְּלָ֑תte.LatH8532of the hornsfellוּנְפַ֥לָהu.ne.fa.luH5308,namely, that hornוְקַרְנָ֨אve.kar.Na'H7162which had eyesוְעַיְנִ֣יןve.'ay.NinH5870and a mouthוְפֻם֙ve.FumH6433utteringמְמַלִּ֣לme.ma.LilH4449greatרַ֥בravH7229boasts, andwhich was largerH7229in appearanceוְחֶזְוַ֖הּve.chez.VahH2376thanמִן־min-H4481its associatesחַבְרָתַֽהּ׃chav.ra.TahH2273.

21I keptהֲוֵ֔יתha.VeitH1934lookingחָזֵ֣הcha.ZehH2370,and that hornוְקַרְנָ֣אve.kar.Na'H7162waswagingעָבְדָ֥ה'a.ve.DahH5648warקְרָ֖בke.RavH7129with thesaintsקַדִּישִׁ֑יןka.di.ShinH6922and prevailingH3202againstH3202them,

22untilעַ֣ד דִּֽי־'ad di-H5705 H1768the Ancientעַתִּיק֙'a.TikH6268of Daysיֽוֹמַיָּ֔אyo.mai.Ya'H3118cameאֲתָ֗ה'a.TahH858andjudgmentוְדִינָ֣אve.di.Na'H1780waspassedיְהִ֔בye.HivH3052in favor of thesaintsלְקַדִּישֵׁ֖יle.ka.di.SheiH6922of the HighestH5946OneH5946,and the timeוְזִמְנָ֣אve.zim.Na'H2166arrivedמְטָ֔הme.TahH4291when thesaintsקַדִּישִֽׁין׃ka.di.ShinH6922tookH2631possessionהֶחֱסִ֥נוּhe.che.Si.nuH2631of the kingdomוּמַלְכוּתָ֖אu.mal.khu.Ta'H4437.

23“ThisH3652isH3652whatH3652he saidאֲמַר֒'a.MarH560: ‘The fourthרְבִיעָ֣יְתָ֔אre.vi.'A.ye.Ta'H7244beastחֵֽיוְתָא֙chei.ve.Ta'H2423will be a fourthרְבִיעָאָה֙re.vi.'a.ya'H7244kingdomמַלְכ֤וּmal.KhuH4437on the earthבְאַרְעָ֔אve.'ar.'A'H772whichדִּ֥יdiH1768will be differentתִשְׁנֵ֖אtish.Ne'H8133from allכָּל־kol-H3606the otherkingdomsמַלְכְוָתָ֑אmal.khe.va.Ta'H4437,and will devourוְתֵאכֻל֙ve.te.KhulH399the wholeכָּל־kol-H3606earthאַרְעָ֔א'ar.'A'H772and trampleH1759it downH1759and crushוְתַדְּקִנַּֽהּ׃ve.tad.de.ki.NahH1855it.

24As for thetenעֲשַׂ֔ר'a.SarH6236hornsוְקַרְנַיָּ֣אve.kar.nai.Ya'H7162,out of this kingdomמַלְכוּתָ֔הmal.khu.Tah'H4437tenעַשְׂרָ֥ה'as.RahH6236kingsמַלְכִ֖יןmal.KhinH4430will ariseיְקֻמ֑וּןye.ku.MunH6966;and anotherוְאָחֳרָ֞ןve.'o.cho.RanH321will ariseיְק֣וּםye.KumH6966afterאַחֲרֵיה֗וֹן'a.cha.rei.HonH311them, and he will be differentיִשְׁנֵא֙yish.Ne'H8133from the previousH6933onesH6933and willhumbleיְהַשְׁפִּֽל׃ye.hash.PilH8214threeוּתְלָתָ֥הu.te.la.TahH8532kingsמַלְכִ֖יןmal.KhinH4430.
