12Then he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to his servantנַעֲר֔וֹna.'a.RoH5288Gehaziגֵּחֲזִ֣יge.cha.ZiH1522, “Callקְרָ֖אke.Ra'H7121thisH2088Shunammiteלַשּׁוּנַמִּ֣יתla.shu.na.MitH7767.”And when he had calledוַיִּקְרָא־vai.yik.ra'-H7121her, she stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דva.ta.'a.ModH5975beforeלְפָנָֽיו׃le.fa.NavH6440him.

13And he saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Sayאֱמָר־'e.mor-H559nowנָ֣אna'H4994to her, ‘Beholdהִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,you have takenH2729troubleH2729for us with allכָּל־kol-H3605thisH2088careהַחֲרָדָ֣הha.cha.ra.DahH2731;whatמֶ֚הmehH4100can I doלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for you?WouldH3426you likeH3426me to speakלְדַבֶּר־le.da.ber-H1696for you to the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428orא֖וֹ'oH176to the commanderשַׂ֣רsarH8269of the armyהַצָּבָ֑אha.tza.Va'H6635?’” But sheansweredוַתֹּ֕אמֶרva.To.merH559, “I liveיֹשָֽׁבֶת׃yo.Sha.vetH3427amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432my own peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971.”

14So he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whatוּמֶ֖הu.MehH4100then is to be doneלַעֲשׂ֣וֹתla.'a.SotH6213for her?” And Gehaziגֵּיחֲזִ֗יgei.cha.ZiH1522answeredוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “It is a factאֲבָ֛ל'a.ValH61that she hasH369noH369sonבֵּ֥ןbenH1121,and her husbandוְאִישָׁ֥הּve.'i.ShahH376isH2204oldזָקֵֽן׃za.KenH2204.”

15He then saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Callקְרָא־ke.ra'-H7121her.” When he had calledוַיִּקְרָא־vai.yik.ra'-H7121her, she stoodוַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖דva.ta.'a.ModH5975in the doorwayבַּפָּֽתַח׃ba.Pa.tachH6607.

16Then he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “At thisהַזֶּה֙ha.ZehH2088seasonלַמּוֹעֵ֤דla.mo.'EdH4150nextחַיָּ֔הchai.YahH2416yearכָּעֵ֣תka.'EtH6256,you are going to embraceחֹבֶ֣קֶתcho.Ve.ketH2263a sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121.”And she saidוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, “NoH408,my lordאֲדֹנִי֙'a.do.NiH113,you manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,do not lieתְּכַזֵּ֖בte.kha.ZevH3576to your servantבְּשִׁפְחָתֶֽךָ׃be.shif.cha.Te.khaH8198.”

17Now the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802conceivedוַתַּ֥הַרva.Ta.harH2029and gaveH3205birthוַתֵּ֣לֶדva.Te.ledH3205to a sonבֵּ֑ןBenH1121at that seasonלַמּוֹעֵ֤דla.mo.'EdH4150the nextחַיָּ֔הchai.YahH2416yearכָּעֵ֣תka.'EtH6256,as Elishaאֱלִישָֽׁע׃'e.li.Sha'H477had toldדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696her.

18When the childהַיָּ֑לֶדhai.Ya.ledH3206was grownוַיִּגְדַּ֖לvai.yig.DalH1431,the dayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117cameוַיְהִ֣יvay.HiH1961that he wentH3318outH3318to his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1,to the reapersהַקֹּצְרִֽים׃ha.ko.tze.RimH7114.

19And he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his fatherאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1, “My headרֹאשִׁ֣י׀ro.ShiH7218,my headרֹאשִׁ֑יro.ShiH7218!” And his fathersaidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to his servantהַנַּ֔עַרha.Na.'arH5288, “Carryשָׂאֵ֖הוּsa.'E.huH5375him to his motherאִמּֽוֹ׃'i.MoH517.”

20When he had carriedוַיִּשָּׂאֵ֔הוּvai.yi.sa.'E.huH5375him and broughtוַיְבִיאֵ֖הוּvay.vi.'E.huH935him to his motherאִמּ֑וֹ'i.MoH517,he satוַיֵּ֧שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427on herlapבִּרְכֶּ֛יהָbir.Kei.haH1290untilעַד־'ad-H5704noonהַֽצָּהֳרַ֖יִםha.tzo.ho.Ra.yimH6672, and thenhe diedוַיָּמֹֽת׃vai.ya.MotH4191.

21And she wentH5927upH5927andlaidוַתַּשְׁכִּבֵ֔הוּva.tash.ki.Ve.huH7901him on the bedמִטַּ֖תmi.TatH4296ofthe manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,and shutוַתִּסְגֹּ֥רva.tis.GorH5462the doorbehindבַּעֲד֖וֹba.'a.DoH1157him and leftוַתֵּצֵֽא׃va.te.Tze'H3318.

22Then she calledוַתִּקְרָא֮va.tik.Ra'H7121to her husbandאִישָׁהּ֒'i.ShahH376and saidוַתֹּ֗אמֶרva.To.merH559, “Pleaseנָ֥אna'H4994sendשִׁלְחָ֨הshil.ChahH7971me oneאֶחָ֣ד'e.ChadH259of the servantsהַנְּעָרִ֔יםha.ne.'a.RimH5288and oneוְאַחַ֖תve.'a.ChatH259of the donkeysהָאֲתֹנ֑וֹתha.'a.to.NotH860,so that I may runוְאָר֛וּצָהve.'a.Ru.tzahH7323to the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430and returnוְאָשֽׁוּבָה׃ve.'a.Shu.vahH7725.”

23But he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Whyמַ֠דּוּעַMa.du.a'H4069are you goingהֹלֶ֤כֶתho.lakh.tiH1980to him todayהַיּ֔וֹםhai.YomH3117?It is neitherלֹֽא־lo'-H3808newחֹ֖דֶשׁCho.deshH2320moonH2320norוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808Sabbathשַׁבָּ֑תsha.BatH7676.” So she justsaidוַתֹּ֖אמֶרva.To.merH559, “It will befineשָׁלֽוֹם׃sha.LomH7965.”

24Then she saddledוַֽתַּחֲבֹשׁ֙va.ta.cha.VoshH2280the donkeyהָֽאָת֔וֹןha.'a.TonH860and saidוַתֹּ֥אמֶרva.To.merH559to her servantנַעֲרָ֖הּna.'a.RahH5288, “Driveנְהַ֣גne.HagH5090the donkeyand goוָלֵ֑ךְva.LekhH1980on; do not slowH6113downH6113the paceלִרְכֹּ֔בlir.KoH7392for me unlessכִּ֖י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518I tellאָמַ֥רְתִּי'a.Mar.tiH559you.”

25So she wentוַתֵּ֗לֶךְva.Te.lekhH1980on and cameוַתָּב֛וֹאva.ta.Vo'H935to the manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430atMountהַ֣רharH2022Carmelהַכַּרְמֶ֑לha.kar.MelH3760.When the manאִישׁ־'ish-H376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֤יםha.'E.lo.HimH430sawכִּרְא֨וֹתkir.'otH7200her at a distanceמִנֶּ֔גֶדmi.Ne.gedH4480 H5048,he saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559to Gehaziגֵּיחֲזִ֣יgei.cha.ZiH1522his servantנַעֲר֔וֹna.'a.RoH5288, “Beholdהִנֵּ֖הhi.NehH2009,thatH1975personH1975thereH1975is the Shunammiteהַשּׁוּנַמִּ֥יתha.shu.na.MitH7767.
