2So allכָּל־kol-H3605the menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478assembledוַיִּקָּ֨הֲל֜וּvai.yi.Ka.ha.LuH6950themselves beforeאֶל־'el-H413Kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010atthe feastבֶּחָ֑גbe.ChagH2282,in the monthבְּיֶ֥רַחbe.Ye.rachH3391Ethanimהָאֵֽתָנִ֖יםha.'e.ta.NimH388,that is, the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ha.she.vi.'IH7637monthהַחֹ֥דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320.
4And they broughtH5927upH5927the arkאֲר֤וֹן'a.RonH727of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the tentאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of meetingמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,and allכָּל־kol-H3605the holyהַקֹּ֖דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944utensilsכְּלֵ֥יke.LeiH3627whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834were in the tentבָּאֹ֑הֶלba.'O.helH168;the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּֽם׃ve.hal.vi.YimH3881broughtH5927them upH5927.
5And Kingוְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the congregationעֲדַ֤ת'a.DatH5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,who were gatheredהַנּוֹעָדִ֣יםha.no.'a.DimH3259togetherH3259to him,were with him beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the arkהָֽאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,sacrificingמְזַבְּחִים֙me.za.be.ChimH2076so manyמֵרֹֽב׃me.RoH7230sheepצֹ֣אןtzonH6629and oxenוּבָקָ֔רu.va.KarH1241that they could not be countedיִסָּפְר֛וּyi.sa.fe.RuH5608or numberedיִמָּנ֖וּyi.ma.NuH4487.
6Thenthe priestsהַ֠כֹּהֲנִיםHa.ko.ha.nimH3548broughtוַיָּבִ֣אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068to its placeמְקוֹמ֛וֹme.ko.MoH4725,into the innerH1687sanctuaryH1687of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,to the MostH6944HolyH6944PlaceH6944,underתַּ֖חַתTa.chatH8478the wingsכַּנְפֵ֥יkan.FeiH3671of the cherubimהַכְּרוּבִֽים׃ha.ke.ru.VimH3742.
7For the cherubimהַכְּרוּבִים֙ha.ke.ru.VimH3742spreadפֹּרְשִׂ֣יםpo.re.SimH6566theirwingsכְּנָפַ֔יִםke.na.Fa.yimH3671overאֶל־'el-H413the placeמְק֖וֹםme.KomH4725of the arkהָֽאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,and the cherubimהַכְּרֻבִ֛יםha.ke.ru.VimH3742madeH5526aH5526coveringוַיָּסֹ֧כּוּvai.ya.So.kuH5526overH5921the arkהָאָר֥וֹןha.'a.RonH727and its carryingH905polesH905from aboveמִלְמָֽעְלָה׃mil.Ma.'e.lahH4480H4605.
8Butthe polesהַבַּדִּים֒ha.ba.DimH905were so longוַֽיַּאֲרִכוּ֮vai.ya.'a.ri.KhuH748that the endsרָאשֵׁ֨יra.SheiH7218of the polesהַבַּדִּ֤יםha.ba.DimH905could be seenוַיֵּרָאוּ֩vai.ye.ra.'UH7200from the holyהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ha.Ko.deshH6944place in frontעַל־ פְּנֵ֣י'al- pe.NeiH5921H6440of the innerH1687sanctuaryH1687,but they could not be seenיֵרָא֖וּye.ra.'UH7200outsideהַח֑וּצָהha.Chu.tzahH2351;they are thereשָׁ֔םShamH8033to thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

11so that the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֛יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548couldיָכְל֧וּya.khe.LuH3201not standלַעֲמֹ֥דla.'a.ModH5975to ministerלְשָׁרֵ֖תle.sha.RetH8334becauseמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH4480H6440of the cloudהֶֽעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051,for the gloryכְבוֹד־khe.Vod-H3519of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068filledמָלֵ֥אma.Le'H4390the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
14Then the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428turnedוַיַּסֵּ֤ב פָּנָ֔יוvai.ya.Sev pa.NavH5437H6440aroundH5437andblessedוַיְבָ֕רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288allכָּל־kol-H3605the assemblyקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,while allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the assemblyקְהַ֥לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478was standingעֹמֵֽד׃'o.MedH5975.
15He saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Blessedבָּר֤וּךְba.RukhH1288be the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,whoאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834spokeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696with His mouthבְּפִ֔יוbe.FivH6310to my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732,and fulfilledמִלֵּ֖אmi.Le'H4390itwith His handsוּבְיָד֥וֹu.ve.ya.DoH3027,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18But the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to my fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732, ‘Becauseיַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤רYa.'an 'a.SherH3282H834it wasin your heartלְבָ֣בְךָ֔le.Va.ve.khaH3824to buildלִבְנ֥וֹתliv.NotH1129a houseבַּ֖יִתBa.yitH1004for My nameלִשְׁמִ֑יlish.MiH8034,you didH2895wellהֱטִיבֹ֔תָhe.ti.Vo.taH2895that it wasin your heartלְבָבֶֽךָ׃le.va.Ve.khaH3824.
19NeverthelessH7534you shall not buildתִבְנֶ֖הtiv.NehH1129the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,but your sonבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121whowill be bornהַיֹּצֵ֣א מֵחֲלָצֶ֔יךָhai.yo.Tze' me.cha.la.Tzei.khaH3318H2504to you, he will buildיִבְנֶ֥הyiv.NehH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004for My nameלִשְׁמִֽי׃lish.MiH8034.’
