2And all the menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478assembledוַיִּקָּ֨הֲל֜וּvai.yi.Ka.ha.LuH6950themselves unto kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹה֙she.lo.MohH8010at the feastבֶּחָ֑גbe.ChagH2282in the monthבְּיֶ֥רַחbe.Ye.rachH3391Ethanimהָאֵֽתָנִ֖יםha.'e.ta.NimH388, which isthe seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ha.she.vi.'IH7637monthהַחֹ֥דֶשׁha.Cho.deshH2320.

3And all the eldersזִקְנֵ֣יzik.NeiH2205of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478cameוַיָּבֹ֕אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935,and the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548took upוַיִּשְׂא֥וּvai.yis.'UH5375the arkהָאָרֽוֹן׃ha.'a.RonH727.

4And they brought upוַֽיַּעֲל֞וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927the arkאֲר֤וֹן'a.RonH727of Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,and the tabernacleאֹ֣הֶל'O.helH168of the congregationמוֹעֵ֔דmo.'EdH4150,and all the holyהַקֹּ֖דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944vesselsכְּלֵ֥יke.LeiH3627that werein the tabernacleבָּאֹ֑הֶלba.'O.helH168,even those did the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548and the Levitesוְהַלְוִיִּֽם׃ve.hal.vi.YimH3881bring upוַיַּעֲל֣וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927.

5And kingוְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְve.ha.Me.lekhH4428Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֗הshe.lo.MohH8010,and all the congregationעֲדַ֤ת'a.DatH5712of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,that were assembledהַנּוֹעָדִ֣יםha.no.'a.DimH3259unto him, werewith him beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the arkהָֽאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,sacrificingמְזַבְּחִים֙me.za.be.ChimH2076sheepצֹ֣אןtzonH6629and oxenוּבָקָ֔רu.va.KarH1241,that could not be toldיִסָּפְר֛וּyi.sa.fe.RuH5608nor numberedיִמָּנ֖וּyi.ma.NuH4487for multitudeמֵרֹֽב׃me.RoH7230.

6And the priestsהַ֠כֹּהֲנִיםHa.ko.ha.nimH3548brought inוַיָּבִ֣אוּvai.ya.Vi.'uH935the arkאֲר֨וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִית־be.rit-H1285of Yhwhיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068unto his placeמְקוֹמ֛וֹme.ko.MoH4725,into the oracleדְּבִ֥ירde.VirH1687of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,to the mostקֹ֣דֶשׁKo.deshH6944holyהַקֳּדָשִׁ֑יםha.ko.da.ShimH6944place, evenunder the wingsכַּנְפֵ֥יkan.FeiH3671of the cherubimsהַכְּרוּבִֽים׃ha.ke.ru.VimH3742.

7For the cherubimsהַכְּרוּבִים֙ha.ke.ru.VimH3742spread forthפֹּרְשִׂ֣יםpo.re.SimH6566theirtwo wingsכְּנָפַ֔יִםke.na.Fa.yimH3671over the placeמְק֖וֹםme.KomH4725of the arkהָֽאָר֑וֹןha.'a.RonH727,and the cherubimsהַכְּרֻבִ֛יםha.ke.ru.VimH3742coveredוַיָּסֹ֧כּוּvai.ya.So.kuH5526the arkהָאָר֥וֹןha.'a.RonH727and the stavesבַּדָּ֖יוba.DavH905thereof aboveמִלְמָֽעְלָה׃mil.Ma.'e.lahH4605.

8And they drew outוַֽיַּאֲרִכוּ֮vai.ya.'a.ri.KhuH748the stavesהַבַּדִּים֒ha.ba.DimH905,that the endsרָאשֵׁ֨יra.SheiH7218of the stavesהַבַּדִּ֤יםha.ba.DimH905were seen outוַיֵּרָאוּ֩vai.ye.ra.'UH7200in the holyהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ha.Ko.deshH6944placebeforeפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440the oracleהַדְּבִ֔ירha.de.VirH1687,and they were not seenיֵרָא֖וּye.ra.'UH7200withoutהַח֑וּצָהha.Chu.tzahH2351:and there they are unto this dayהַיּ֥וֹםhai.YomH3117.

9There wasnothing in the arkבָּֽאָר֔וֹןba.'a.RonH727saveרַ֗קRakH7535the twoשְׁנֵי֙she.NeiH8147tablesלֻח֣וֹתlu.ChotH3871of stoneהָאֲבָנִ֔יםha.'a.va.NimH68,which Mosesמֹשֶׁ֖הmo.ShehH4872putH3240there at Horebבְּחֹרֵ֑בbe.cho.RevH2722,when Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068madeכָּרַ֤תka.RatH3772a covenantwith the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,when they came outבְּצֵאתָ֖םbe.tze.TamH3318of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

10And it came to pass, when the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548were come outבְּצֵ֥אתbe.TzetH3318of the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944place,that the cloudוְהֶעָנָ֥ןve.he.'a.NanH6051filledמָלֵ֖אma.Le'H4390the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068,

11So that the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֛יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548couldיָכְל֧וּya.khe.LuH3201not standלַעֲמֹ֥דla.'a.ModH5975to ministerלְשָׁרֵ֖תle.sha.RetH8334becauseמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH6440of the cloudהֶֽעָנָ֑ןhe.'a.NanH6051:for the gloryכְבוֹד־khe.Vod-H3519of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had filledמָלֵ֥אma.Le'H4390the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

12Then spakeאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֑הshe.lo.MohH8010,Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068saidאָמַ֔ר'a.MarH559that he would dwellלִשְׁכֹּ֖ןlish.KonH7931in the thick darknessבָּעֲרָפֶֽל׃ba.'a.ra.FelH6205.

13I have surelyבָּנֹ֥הba.NohH1129builtבָנִ֛יתִיva.Ni.tiH1129thee an houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004to dwell inזְבֻ֖לze.VulH2073,a settled placeמָכ֥וֹןma.KhonH4349for thee to abide inלְשִׁבְתְּךָ֖le.shiv.te.KhaH3427for everעוֹלָמִֽים׃o.la.MimH5769.

14And the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428turnedוַיַּסֵּ֤בvai.ya.SevH5437his faceפָּנָ֔יוpa.NavH6440aboutH5437,and blessedוַיְבָ֕רֶךְvay.Va.rekhH1288all the congregationקְהַ֣לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478: (and all the congregationקְהַ֥לke.HalH6951of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478stoodעֹמֵֽד׃'o.MedH5975;)

15And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Blessedבָּר֤וּךְba.RukhH1288beYhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,which spakeדִּבֶּ֣רdi.BerH1696with his mouthבְּפִ֔יוbe.FivH6310unto Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1,and hath with his handוּבְיָד֥וֹu.ve.ya.DoH3027fulfilledמִלֵּ֖אmi.Le'H4390it,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

16Since the dayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117that I brought forthהוֹצֵ֜אתִיho.Tze.tiH3318my peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֮Yis.ra.'ElH3478out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַיִם֒mi.mitz.ra.YimH4714,I choseבָחַ֣רְתִּיva.Char.tiH977no cityבְעִ֗ירve.'IrH5892out of all the tribesשִׁבְטֵ֣יshiv.TeiH7626of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478to buildלִבְנ֣וֹתliv.NotH1129an houseבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004,that my nameשְׁמִ֖יshe.MiH8034might be therein; but I choseוָאֶבְחַ֣רva.'ev.CharH977Davidבְּדָוִ֔דbe.da.VidH1732to be over my peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

17And it was in the heartלְבַ֖בle.VavH3824of Davidדָּוִ֣דda.VidH1732my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1to buildלִבְנ֣וֹתliv.NotH1129an houseבַּ֔יִתBa.yitH1004for the nameלְשֵׁ֥םle.ShemH8034of Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֥י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

19Neverthelessרַ֣קrakH7535thou shalt not buildתִבְנֶ֖הtiv.NehH1129the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004;but thy sonבִּנְךָ֙bin.KhaH1121that shall come forth outהַיֹּצֵ֣אhai.yo.Tze'H3318of thy loinsמֵחֲלָצֶ֔יךָme.cha.la.Tzei.khaH2504,he shall buildיִבְנֶ֥הyiv.NehH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004unto my nameלִשְׁמִֽי׃lish.MiH8034.
