54The 1soundH6963 of an outcryH2201 from BabylonH894, And of greatH1419 destructionH7667 from the landH776 of the ChaldeansH3778!55For the LordH3068 is going to destroyH7703 BabylonH894, And He will makeH6 her loudH1419 2noiseH6963 vanishH6 from her. And their 3wavesH1530 will roarH1993 like manyH7227 watersH4325; The tumultH7588 of their voicesH6963 4soundsH5414 forthH5414.56For the 5destroyerH7703 is comingH935 againstH5921 her, againstH5921 BabylonH894, And her mightyH1368 menH1368 will be capturedH3920, Their 6bowsH7198 are shatteredH2865; For the LordH3068 is a GodH410 of 7recompenseH1578, He will fullyH7999 repayH7999.57“I will 8makeH7937 her princesH8269 and her wiseH2450 menH2450 drunkH7937, Her governorsH6346, her prefectsH5461 and her mightyH1368 menH1368, That they may sleepH3462 a 9perpetualH5769 sleepH8142 and not wakeH3364 up,” 10DeclaresH5002 the KingH4428, whose nameH8034 is the LordH3068 of hostsH6635.
