Jeremiah 35:12-15

13“ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, ‘GoH1980 and sayH559 to the menH376 of JudahH3063 and the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389, “1Will you not receiveH3947 instructionH4148 by listeningH8085 to My wordsH1697?” declaresH5002 the LordH3068.

14“The 2wordsH1697 of JonadabH3082 the sonH1121 of RechabH7394, whichH834 he commandedH6680 his sonsH1121 not to drinkH8354 wineH3196, are observedH6965. So they do not drinkH8354 wine to thisH2088 dayH3117, for they have obeyedH8085 their father’sH1 commandH4687. But I have spokenH1696 to you 3 4againH7925 and againH1696; yet you have 5not listenedH8085 to Me.

15Also I have sentH7971 to you allH3605 My 6servantsH5650 the prophetsH5030, sendingH7971 them 7againH7925 and againH7971, sayingH559: ‘8TurnH7725 nowH4994 everyH376 manH376 from his evilH7451 wayH1870 and amendH3190 your deedsH4611, and 9do not goH1980 afterH310 otherH312 godsH430 to worshipH5647 them. Then you will 10dwellH3427 in the landH127 whichH834 I have givenH5414 to you and to your forefathersH1; but you have not 11inclinedH5186 your earH241 or listenedH8085 to Me.
