Ezekiel 6:2-10
2“SonH1121 of manH120, setH7760 your faceH6440 towardH413 the 1mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, and prophesyH5012 againstH413 them 3and sayH559, ‘MountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, listenH8085 to the wordH1697 of the LordH136 2GodH3068! ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 3GodH3068 to the mountainsH2022, the hillsH1389, the ravinesH650 and the valleysH1516: “BeholdH2009, I MyselfH589 am going to bringH935 a swordH2719 on you, and 4I will destroyH6 your highH1116 placesH1116. 4So your 5altarsH4196 will becomeH8074 desolateH8074 and your incenseH2553 altarsH2553 will be smashedH7665; and I will make your slainH2491 fallH5307 in frontH6440 of your idolsH1544. 5I will also layH5414 the deadH6297 bodiesH6297 of the sonsH1121 of IsraelH3478 in frontH6440 of their idolsH1544; and I will scatterH2219 your 6bonesH6106 aroundH5439 your altarsH4196. 6In allH3605 your dwellingsH4186, 7citiesH5892 will becomeH2717 wasteH2717 and the highH1116 placesH1116 will be desolateH8074, that your altarsH4196 may becomeH2717 wasteH2717 and 8desolateH816, your 9idolsH1544 may be brokenH7665 and broughtH7673 to an endH7673, your incenseH2553 altarsH2553 may be cutH1438 downH1438, and your worksH4639 may be blottedH4229 out. 7The slainH2491 will fallH5307 amongH8432 you, and you will knowH3045 that I am the LordH3068.
8“However, I will leaveH3498 a 10remnantH3498, for you will haveH1961 those whoH6412 11escapedH6412 the swordH2719 among the nationsH1471 when you are scatteredH2219 among the countriesH776. 9Then those of you whoH6412 escapeH6412 will 12rememberH2142 Me among the nationsH1471 to whichH834 they will be carriedH7617 captiveH7617, howH834 I have 1314been hurtH7665 by their adulterousH2181 heartsH3820 whichH834 turnedH5493 awayH5493 from Me, and by their eyesH5869 which playedH2181 the harlotH2181 afterH310 their idolsH1544; and they will 15loatheH6962 themselves in their own sightH6440 for the evilsH7463 whichH834 they have committedH6213, for allH3605 their abominationsH8441. 10Then they will knowH3045 that I am the LordH3068; I have not saidH1696 in vainH2600 16that I would inflictH6213 thisH2088 disasterH7463 on them.”’
