Ezekiel 33:21-29
21Now 1in the 2twelfthH8147H6240 yearH8141 of our exileH1546, on the fifthH2568 of the tenthH6224 monthH2320, the 3refugeesH6412 from JerusalemH3389 cameH935 to me, sayingH559, “4The cityH5892 has been 5takenH5221.” 22Now the 6handH3027 of the LordH3068 had beenH1961 upon me in the eveningH6153, beforeH6440 the 7refugeesH6412 cameH935. And He 8openedH6605 my mouthH6310 9at the timeH5704 they cameH935 to me in the morningH1242; so my mouthH6310 was 10openedH6605 and I was noH3808 longerH5750 11speechlessH481.
23Then the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 cameH1961 to me sayingH559, 24“SonH1121 of manH120, they who 12liveH3427 in theseH428 wasteH2723 placesH2723 in the landH127 of IsraelH3478 are sayingH559, ‘13AbrahamH85 was only oneH259, yet he possessedH3423 the landH776; so to 14us whoH7227 are manyH7227 the landH776 has been givenH5414 as a possessionH4181.’ 25ThereforeH3651 sayH559 to them, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, “You eatH398 meat with the 15bloodH1818 in it, liftH5375 up your eyesH5869 to your idolsH1544 as you shedH8210 bloodH1818. 16Should you then possessH3423 the landH776? 26You 1718relyH5975 on your swordH2719, you commitH6213 abominationsH8441 and eachH376 of you defilesH2930 his neighbor’sH7453 wifeH802. Should you then possessH3423 the landH776?”’ 27ThusH3541 you shall sayH559 to them, ‘ThusH3541 saysH559 the LordH136 GodH3068, “As I liveH2416, surelyH518H3808 those whoH834 are in the wasteH2723 placesH2723 will 19fallH5307 by the swordH2719, and whoeverH834 is in the 20openH6440 fieldH7704 I will giveH5414 to the beastsH2421 to be devouredH398, and those whoH834 are in the strongholdsH4679 and in the 21cavesH4631 will dieH4191 of pestilenceH1698. 28I will 22makeH5414 the landH776 a desolationH8077 and a wasteH4923, and the 23prideH1347 of her powerH5797 will ceaseH7673; and the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478 will be desolateH8074 soH4480 that noH369 oneH369 will passH5674 throughH5674. 29Then they will knowH3045 that I am the LordH3068, when I makeH5414 the landH776 a desolationH8077 and a wasteH4923 becauseH5921 of allH3605 their abominationsH8441 whichH834 they have committedH6213.”’
