5At HebronH2275 1he reignedH4427 overH5921 JudahH3063 sevenH7651 yearsH8141 and sixH8337 monthsH2320, and in JerusalemH3389 he reignedH4427 thirty-threeH7970H7969 yearsH8141 overH5921 allH3605 IsraelH3478 and JudahH3063.
62Now the kingH4428 and his menH376 wentH1980 to 3JerusalemH3389 againstH413 the JebusitesH2983, the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776, and they saidH559 to 4DavidH1732, “You shall not comeH935 in hereH2008, but the blindH5787 and lameH6455 will turnH5493 you awayH5493”; 5thinkingH559, “DavidH1732 cannotH3808 enterH935 hereH2008.” 7Nevertheless, DavidH1732 capturedH3920 the strongholdH4686 of ZionH6726, that is 6the cityH5892 of DavidH1732. 8DavidH1732 saidH559 on that dayH3117, “WhoeverH3605 would strikeH5221 the JebusitesH2983, let him reachH5060 the lameH6455 and the blindH5787, who are hatedH8130 by David’sH1732 soulH5315, through the waterH6794 tunnelH6794.” ThereforeH5921H3651 they sayH559, “The blindH5787 or the lameH6455 shall not comeH935 into the houseH1004.” 9So DavidH1732 livedH3427 in the strongholdH4686 and calledH7121 it 7the cityH5892 of DavidH1732.
