2 Kings 16:5-9
5ThenH227 1RezinH7526 kingH4428 of AramH758 and PekahH6492 sonH1121 of RemaliahH7425, kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, cameH5927 up to JerusalemH3389 to wage warH4421; and they besiegedH6696H5921 AhazH271, 2but couldH3201 not 3overcomeH3898 him. 6At that timeH6256 RezinH7526 kingH4428 of AramH758 recoveredH7725 4ElathH365 for AramH758, and clearedH5394 the JudeansH3064 out of 5ElathH359 entirely; and the 6ArameansH130 cameH935 to ElathH365 and have livedH3427 thereH8033 to thisH2088 dayH3117.
77So AhazH271 sentH7971 messengersH4397 to 8Tiglath-pileserH8407 kingH4428 of AssyriaH804, sayingH559, “I am your servantH5650 and your sonH1121; comeH5927 up and deliverH3467 me from the 9handH3709 of the kingH4428 of AramH758 and from the 10handH3709 of the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, who are risingH6965 up againstH5921 me.” 811AhazH271 tookH3947 the silverH3701 and goldH2091 that was foundH4672 in the houseH1004 of the LordH3068 and in the treasuriesH214 of the king’sH4428 houseH1004, and sentH7971 a presentH7810 to the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804. 912So the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 listenedH8085 to him; and the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804 wentH5927 up againstH413 DamascusH1834 and 13capturedH8610 it, and carriedH1540 the people of it awayH1540 into exileH1540 to 14KirH7024, and putH4191 RezinH7526 to deathH4191.
