1 Kings 16:8-13
8In the twenty-sixthH6242H8337 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, ElahH425 the sonH1121 of BaashaH1201 becameH4427 kingH4427 overH5921 IsraelH3478 at TirzahH8656, and reigned two yearsH8141. 9His servantH5650 1ZimriH2174, commanderH8269 of halfH4276 his chariotsH7393, conspiredH7194 againstH5921 him. Now he was at TirzahH8656 drinkingH8354 himself drunkH7910 in the houseH1004 of ArzaH777, 2whoH834 was overH5921 the householdH1004 at TirzahH8656. 10Then ZimriH2174 wentH935 in and struckH5221 him and putH4191 him to deathH4191 in the twenty-seventhH6242H7651 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and becameH4427 kingH4427 in his placeH8478. 11It cameH1961 about when he becameH4427 kingH4427, as soon as he satH3427 on his throneH3678, that 3he 4killedH5221 allH3605 the householdH1004 of BaashaH1201; he did not leaveH7604 5a single maleH8366H7023, neither of his 6relativesH1350 nor of his friendsH7453.
12Thus ZimriH2174 destroyedH8045 allH3605 the householdH1004 of BaashaH1201, 7according to the wordH1697 of the LordH3068, whichH834 He spokeH1696 againstH413 BaashaH1201 throughH3027 8JehuH3058 the prophetH5030, 13for allH3605 the sinsH2403 of BaashaH1201 and the sinsH2403 of ElahH425 his sonH1121, whichH834 they sinnedH2398 and whichH834 they made IsraelH3478 sinH2398, 9provokingH3707 the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 to angerH3707 with their 10idolsH1892.
