1 Kings 16:8-13
8In the twenty-sixthH6242H8337 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, ElahH425 the sonH1121 of BaashaH1201 becameH4427 kingH4427 overH5921 IsraelH3478 at TirzahH8656, and reigned for two yearsH8141. 9And his servantH5650 1ZimriH2174, commanderH8269 of halfH4276 his chariotsH7393, conspiredH7194 againstH5921 him. Now 2Elah was in TirzahH8656 drinkingH8354 himself drunkH7910 in the houseH1004 of ArzaH777, 3whoH834 was inH5921 chargeH5921 ofH5921 the householdH1004 in TirzahH8656. 10Then ZimriH2174 cameH935 inH935 and struckH5221 him and putH4191 him toH4191 deathH4191 in the twenty-seventhH6242H7651 yearH8141 of AsaH609 kingH4428 of JudahH3063, and he becameH4427 kingH4427 inH8478 his placeH8478. 11And when he becameH4427 kingH4427, as soon as he satH3427 on his throneH3678, 4he 5killedH5221 allH3605 the householdH1004 of BaashaH1201; he did not leaveH7604 6a single maleH8366H7023 aliveH7604, either of his 7relativesH1350 or of his friendsH7453.
12So ZimriH2174 eliminatedH8045 allH3605 the householdH1004 of BaashaH1201, 8in accordance with the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 whichH834 He spokeH1696 againstH413 BaashaH1201 throughH3027 9JehuH3058 the prophetH5030, 13for allH3605 the sinsH2403 of BaashaH1201 and the sinsH2403 of his sonH1121 ElahH425, whichH834 they 10committedH2398 and into whichH834 they misledH2398 IsraelH3478, 11provokingH3707 the LordH3068 GodH430 of IsraelH3478 toH3707 angerH3707 with their 12idolsH1892.
