18Sayתֹּאמַ֜רto.MarH559to the peopleהָעָ֨םha.'AmH5971, ‘Consecrateהִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּhit.ka.de.ShuH6942yourselves for tomorrowלְמָחָר֮le.ma.CharH4279,and you shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּ֣םva.'a.khal.TemH398meatבָּשָׂר֒ba.SarH1320;for you have weptבְּכִיתֶם֩be.khi.TemH1058in the earsבְּאָזְנֵ֨יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, “OhH4310that someoneH4310would give us meatבָּשָׂ֔רba.SarH1320to eatיַאֲכִלֵ֙נוּ֙ya.'a.khi.Le.nuH398!For we were well-offט֥וֹבTovH2895in Egyptבְּמִצְרָ֑יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714.”Therefore the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068will giveוְנָתַ֨ןve.na.TanH5414you meatבָּשָׂ֖רba.SarH1320and you shall eatוַאֲכַלְתֶּֽם׃va.'a.khal.TemH398.

19You shall eatתֹּאכְל֖וּןtokh.LunH398,not oneאֶחָ֛ד'e.ChadH259dayי֥וֹםYomH3117,norH3808two daysיוֹמָ֑יִםyo.Ma.yimH3117,norH3808fiveחֲמִשָּׁ֣הcha.mi.ShahH2568daysיָמִ֗יםya.MimH3117,norH3808tenעֲשָׂרָ֣ה'a.sa.RahH6235daysיָמִ֔יםya.MimH3117,norH3808twentyעֶשְׂרִ֥ים'es.RimH6242daysיֽוֹם׃YomH3117,

20but a wholeיָמִ֗יםya.MimH3117monthחֹ֣דֶשׁCho.deshH2320,untilאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H5704 H834it comesיֵצֵא֙ye.Tze'H3318out of your nostrilsמֵֽאַפְּכֶ֔םme.'a.pe.KhemH639and becomesוְהָיָ֥הve.ha.YahH1961loathsomeלְזָרָ֑אle.za.Ra'H2214to you; becauseיַ֗עַן כִּֽי־Ya.'an ki-H3282 H3588you have rejectedמְאַסְתֶּ֤םme.'as.TemH3988the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is amongבְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔םbe.kir.be.KhemH7130you and have weptוַתִּבְכּ֤וּva.tiv.KuH1058beforeלְפָנָיו֙le.fa.NavH6440Him, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Whyלָ֥מָּהLa.mahH4100did we everזֶּ֖הzehH2088leaveיָצָ֥אנוּya.Tza.nuH3318 H4480Egyptמִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃mi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714?”’”

21But Mosesמֹשֶׁה֒mo.ShehH4872saidוַיֹּאמֶר֮vai.yo.MerH559, “The peopleהָעָ֕םha.'AmH5971,amongבְּקִרְבּ֑וֹbe.kir.BoH7130whomאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I am, are 600,000שֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֥וֹת אֶ֙לֶף֙shesh- me.'ot 'e.lefH8337 H3967 H505on footרַגְלִ֔יrag.LiH7273;yet You have saidאָמַ֗רְתָּ'a.Mar.taH559, ‘I will giveאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414them meatבָּשָׂר֙ba.SarH1320,so that they may eatוְאָכְל֖וּve.'a.khe.LuH398for a wholeיָמִֽים׃ya.MimH3117monthחֹ֥דֶשׁCho.deshH2320.’

22Should flocksהֲצֹ֧אןha.TzonH6629and herdsוּבָקָ֛רu.va.KarH1241be slaughteredיִשָּׁחֵ֥טyi.sha.ChetH7819for them, to be sufficientוּמָצָ֣אu.ma.Tza'H4672for them? Orאִ֣ם'imH518should allכָּל־kol-H3605the fishדְּגֵ֥יde.GeiH1709of the seaהַיָּ֛םhai.YamH3220be gatheredיֵאָסֵ֥ףye.'a.SefH622together for them, to be sufficientוּמָצָ֥אu.ma.Tza'H4672for them?”

23The Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872, “Isthe Lord’sיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068powerהֲיַ֥דha.YadH3027limitedתִּקְצָ֑רtik.TzarH7114?Nowעַתָּ֥ה'a.TahH6258you shall seeתִרְאֶ֛הtir.'EhH7200whetherMy wordדְבָרִ֖יde.va.RiH1697willcomeH7136trueH7136for you orאִם־'im-H518not.”
