8butyou shall freelyפָתֹ֧חַfa.To.achH6605openתִּפְתַּ֛חtif.TachH6605your handיָדְךָ֖ya.de.KhaH3027to him, and shall generouslyוְהַעֲבֵט֙ve.ha.'a.VetH5670lendתַּעֲבִיטֶ֔נּוּta.'a.vi.Te.nuH5670him sufficientדֵּ֚יdeiH1767for his needמַחְסֹר֔וֹmach.so.RoH4270inwhateverאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834he lacksיֶחְסַ֖רyech.SarH2637.

11For the poorH34will neverלֹא־lo'-H3808ceaseיֶחְדַּ֥לyech.DalH2308to bein the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776;thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֞ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I commandמְצַוְּךָ֙me.tza.ve.KhaH6680you, sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘You shall freelyפָּ֠תֹחַPa.to.achH6605openתִּפְתַּ֨חtif.TachH6605your handיָדְךָ֜ya.de.KhaH3027to your brotherלְאָחִ֧יךָle.'a.Chi.khaH251,to your needyH6041and poorלַעֲנִיֶּ֛ךָla.'a.ni.Ye.khaH6041in your landבְּאַרְצֶֽךָ׃ סbe.'ar.Tze.khaH776.’

12“Ifכִּֽי־ki-H3588yourkinsmanאָחִ֣יךָ'a.Chi.kKhaH251,a HebrewH5680manH5680orא֚וֹ'oH176womanH5680,is soldיִמָּכֵ֨רyi.ma.KherH4376to you, then he shall serveוַעֲבָֽדְךָ֖va.'a.va.de.KhaH5647you sixשֵׁ֣שׁsheshH8337yearsשָׁנִ֑יםsha.NimH8141,but in the seventhהַשְּׁבִיעִ֔תha.she.vi.'ItH7637yearוּבַשָּׁנָה֙u.va.sha.NahH8141you shall setתְּשַׁלְּחֶ֥נּוּte.shal.le.Che.nuH7971himfreeחָפְשִׁ֖יcha.fe.ShiH2670.

13Whenוְכִֽי־ve.khi-H3588you setH7971himfreeחָפְשִׁ֖יcha.fe.ShiH2670,you shall not sendH7971him awayH7971empty-handedרֵיקָֽם׃rei.KamH7387.

14You shall furnishהַעֲנֵ֤יקha.'a.NeikH6059him liberallyתַּעֲנִיק֙ta.'a.NikH6059from your flockמִצֹּ֣אנְךָ֔mi.Tzo.ne.khaH6629and from your threshingH1637floorוּמִֽגָּרְנְךָ֖u.mi.ga.re.ne.KhaH1637and from your wineH3342vatH3342;you shall giveתִּתֶּן־ti.ten-H5414to him as the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430has blessedבֵּרַכְךָ֛be.rakh.KhaH1288you.

15You shall rememberוְזָכַרְתָּ֗ve.za.khar.TaH2142that you were a slaveעֶ֤בֶד'E.vedH5650in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430redeemedוַֽיִּפְדְּךָ֖vai.yif.de.KhaH6299you; thereforeעַל־ כֵּ֞ן'al- kenH5921 H3651I commandמְצַוְּךָ֛me.tza.ve.KhaH6680youthisהַזֶּ֖הha.ZehH2088todayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117.

16It shall comeוְהָיָה֙ve.ha.YahH1961aboutifכִּֽי־ki-H3588he saysיֹאמַ֣רyo.MarH559to you, ‘I will not goאֵצֵ֖א'e.Tze'H3318out from you,’ becauseכִּ֤יkiH3588he lovesאֲהֵֽבְךָ֙'a.he.ve.KhaH157you and your householdבֵּיתֶ֔ךָbei.Te.khaH1004,sinceכִּי־ki-H3588he fares wellט֥וֹבTovH2895with you;

17then you shall takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֣ve.la.kach.TaH3947an awlהַמַּרְצֵ֗עַha.mar.Tze.a'H4836and pierceוְנָתַתָּ֤הve.na.ta.TahH5414it through his earבְאָזְנוֹ֙ve.'a.ze.NoH241into the doorוּבַדֶּ֔לֶתu.va.De.letH1817,and he shall be your servantעֶ֣בֶד'E.vedH5650foreverעוֹלָ֑םo.LamH5769.Alsoוְאַ֥ףve.'AfH637you shall doתַּעֲשֶׂה־ta.'a.seh-H6213likewiseכֵּֽן׃KenH3651to your maidservantלַאֲמָתְךָ֖la.'a.ma.te.KhaH519.
