1And Adamוְהָ֣אָדָ֔םve.Ha.'a.DamH120knewיָדַ֖ע אֶת־ya.Da' 'et-H853 H3045Eveחַוָּ֣הcha.VahH2332his wifeאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ'ish.ToH802;and she conceivedוַתַּ֙הַר֙va.Ta.harH2029,and bareוַתֵּ֣לֶד אֶת־va.Te.led 'et-H853 H3205Cainקַ֔יִןKa.yinH7014,and saidוַתֹּ֕אמֶרva.To.merH559,I have gottenקָנִ֥יתִיka.Ni.tiH7069a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376fromאֶת־'et-H854the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

2And she againוַתֹּ֣סֶףva.To.sefH3254bareלָלֶ֔דֶתla.Le.detH3205his brotherאָחִ֖יו'a.ChivH251Abelהָ֑בֶלHa.velH1893.And Abelהֶ֙בֶל֙he.velH1893was a keeperרֹ֣עֵהRo.'ehH7462of sheepצֹ֔אןTzonH6629,but Cainוְקַ֕יִןve.Ka.yinH7014was a tillerעֹבֵ֥ד'o.VedH5647of the groundאֲדָמָֽה׃'a.da.MahH127.

3And in processמִקֵּ֣ץmi.KetzH7093of timeיָמִ֑יםya.MimH3117it came to pass, that Cainקַ֜יִןKa.yinH7014broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935of the fruitמִפְּרִ֧יmi.pe.RiH6529of the groundהָֽאֲדָמָ֛הha.'a.da.MahH127an offeringמִנְחָ֖הmin.ChahH4503unto the Lordלַֽיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

4And Abelוְהֶ֨בֶלve.He.velH1893,heה֛וּאhu'H1931also broughtהֵבִ֥יאhe.Vi'H935of the firstlingsH1062of his flockצֹאנ֖וֹtzo.NoH6629and of the fatוּמֵֽחֶלְבֵהֶ֑ןu.me.chel.ve.HenH2459thereof. And the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068had respectוַיִּ֣שַׁעvai.Yi.sha'H8159unto Abelהֶ֖בֶלHe.velH1893and to his offeringמִנְחָתֽוֹ׃min.cha.ToH4503:

5But unto Cainקַ֥יִןKa.yinH7014and to his offeringמִנְחָת֖וֹmin.cha.ToH4503he had not respectשָׁעָ֑הsha.'AhH8159.And Cainלְקַ֙יִן֙le.Ka.yinH7014was veryמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966wrothוַיִּ֤חַרvai.Yi.charH2734,and his countenanceפָּנָֽיו׃pa.NavH6440fellוַֽיִּפְּל֖וּvai.yi.pe.LuH5307.
