Proverbs 28:12-20 12 When the righteous צַ֭דִּיקִים Tza.di.kim H6662 triumph , there is great רַבָּ֣ה ra.Bah H7227 glory תִפְאָ֑רֶת tif.'A.ret H8597 ; but when the wicked רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים re.sha.'Im H7563 rise H6965 , men H120 conceal themselves. 13 He that covereth his transgressions פְ֭שָׁעָיו Fe.sha.'av H6588 shall not prosper יַצְלִ֑יחַ yatz.Li.ach H6743 ; but whoso confesseth and forsaketh [ them ] shall obtain mercy יְרֻחָֽם׃ ye.ru.Cham H7355 . 14 Happy is the man H120 that feareth always ; but he that hardeneth his heart לִ֝בּ֗וֹ li.Bo H3820 shall fall יִפּ֥וֹל yi.Pol H5307 into evil H7451 . 15 A roaring lion אֲרִי־ 'a.ri- H738 , and a ranging bear וְדֹ֣ב ve.Do H1677 , is a wicked רָ֝שָׁ֗ע ra.Sha' H7563 ruler מֹשֵׁ֥ל mo.Shel H4910 over a poor דָּֽל׃ Dal H1800 people עַם־ 'am- H5971 . 16 The prince H5057 void of intelligence is also a great וְרַ֥ב ve.Rav H7227 oppressor : he that hateth covetousness shall prolong יַאֲרִ֥יךְ ya.'a.Rikh H748 [ his ] days יָמִֽים׃ פ ya.Mim H3117 . 18 Whoso walketh in integrity H8549 shall be saved H3467 ; but he that is perverted in [ his ] double ways דְּ֝רָכַ֗יִם de.ra.Kha.yim H1870 , shall fall יִפּ֥וֹל yi.Pol H5307 in one בְּאֶחָֽת׃ be.'e.Chat H259 [ of them ]. 19 He that tilleth his land אַ֭דְמָתוֹ 'ad.ma.to H127 shall be satisfied H7646 with bread H3899 ; but he that followeth the worthless H7386 shall have poverty רִֽישׁ׃ Rish H7389 enough . 20 A faithful man H376 aboundeth with blessings H1293 ; but he that maketh haste to be rich לְ֝הַעֲשִׁ֗יר le.ha.'a.Shir H6238 shall not be innocent .
