29“In thoseהָהֵ֔םha.HemH1992daysבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117,it will noלֹא־lo'-H3808longerע֔וֹדodH5750be saidיֹאמְר֣וּyo.me.RuH559: ‘The fathersאָב֖וֹת'a.VotH1have eatenאָ֣כְלוּ'A.khe.luH398sour grapesבֹ֑סֶרVo.serH1155,and the teethוְשִׁנֵּ֥יve.shi.NeiH8127of the childrenבָנִ֖יםva.NimH1121are set on edgeתִּקְהֶֽינָה׃tik.Hei.nahH6949.’

30Insteadכִּ֛י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518,eachאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376will dieיָמ֑וּתya.MutH4191for his own iniquityבַּעֲוֹנ֖וֹba.'a.vo.NoH5771.If anyoneכָּל־ הָֽאָדָ֛םkol- ha.'a.DamH3605 H120eatsהָאֹכֵ֥לha.'o.KhelH398the sour grapesהַבֹּ֖סֶרha.Bo.serH1155,his own teethשִׁנָּֽיו׃ סshi.NavH8127will be set on edgeתִּקְהֶ֥ינָהtik.Hei.nahH6949.

31Beholdהִנֵּ֛הhi.NehH2009,the daysיָמִ֥יםya.MimH3117are comingבָּאִ֖יםba.'ImH935,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,when I will makeוְכָרַתִּ֗יve.kha.ra.TiH3772a newחֲדָשָֽׁה׃cha.da.ShahH2319covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285withאֶת־'et-H854the houseבֵּ֧יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478and withוְאֶת־ve.'EtH854the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Judahיְהוּדָ֖הye.hu.DahH3063.

32It will notלֹ֣אlo'H3808be like the covenantכַבְּרִ֗יתkha.be.RitH1285אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834I madeכָּרַ֙תִּי֙ka.Ra.tiH3772withאֶת־'et-H854their fathersאֲבוֹתָ֔ם'a.vo.TamH1whenבְּיוֹם֙be.yOmH3117I took themהֶחֱזִיקִ֣יhe.che.zi.KiH2388by the handבְיָדָ֔םve.ya.DamH3027to lead themלְהוֹצִיאָ֖םle.ho.tzi.'AmH3318out of the landמֵאֶ֖רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834—a covenantבְּרִיתִ֗יbe.ri.TiH1285theyהֵ֜מָּהHe.mahH1992brokeהֵפֵ֣רוּhe.Fe.ruH6565אֶת־'et-H853,though Iוְאָנֹכִ֛יve.'a.no.KhiH595was a husbandבָּעַ֥לְתִּיba.'Al.tiH1166to them,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

33“Butכִּ֣יkiH3588thisזֹ֣אתzotH2063is the covenantהַבְּרִ֡יתha.be.RitH1285אֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I will makeאֶכְרֹת֩'ekh.RotH3772withאֶת־'et-H854the houseבֵּ֨יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478afterאַחֲרֵ֨י'a.cha.ReiH310thoseהָהֵם֙ha.HemH1992daysהַיָּמִ֤יםhai.ya.MimH3117,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068.I will putנָתַ֤תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414אֶת־'et-H853My lawתּֽוֹרָתִי֙to.ra.TiH8451in their mindsבְּקִרְבָּ֔םbe.kir.BamH7130and inscribe itאֶכְתֲּבֶ֑נָּה'ekh.ta.Ve.nahH3789onוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921their heartsלִבָּ֖םli.BamH3820.And I will beוְהָיִ֤יתִיve.ha.Yi.tiH1961theirGodלֵֽאלֹהִ֔יםle.lo.HimH430,and theyוְהֵ֖מָּהve.He.mahH1992will beיִֽהְיוּ־yih.yu-H1961Mypeopleלְעָֽם׃le.'AmH5971.

34Noוְלֹ֧אve.Lo'H3808longerע֗וֹדodH5750will each manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376אֶת־'et-H853teachיְלַמְּד֣וּye.la.me.DuH3925his neighborרֵעֵ֜הוּre.'E.huH7453orוְאִ֤ישׁve.'IshH376אֶת־'et-H853his brotherאָחִיו֙'a.ChivH251,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, ‘Knowדְּע֖וּde.'UH3045אֶת־'et-H853the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,’becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588they will allכוּלָּם֩khu.LamH3605knowיֵדְע֨וּye.de.'UH3045Meאוֹתִ֜י'o.TiH853,from the least of themלְמִקְטַנָּ֤םle.mik.ta.NamH6996toוְעַד־ve.'ad-H5704the greatestגְּדוֹלָם֙ge.do.LamH1419,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068.Forכִּ֤יkiH3588I will forgiveאֶסְלַח֙'es.LachH5545their iniquitiesלַֽעֲוֹנָ֔םla.'a.vo.NamH5771and will rememberאֶזְכָּר־'ez.kor-H2142their sinsוּלְחַטָּאתָ֖םu.le.cha.ta.TamH2403noלֹ֥אlo'H3808moreעֽוֹד׃ סodH5750.”

35Thusכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,who givesנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414the sunשֶׁ֙מֶשׁ֙she.meshH8121for lightלְא֣וֹרle.'orH216by dayיוֹמָ֔םyo.MamH3119, whosets in orderחֻקֹּ֛תchu.KotH2708the moonיָרֵ֥חַya.Re.achH3394and starsוְכוֹכָבִ֖יםve.kho.kha.VimH3556for lightלְא֣וֹרle.'orH216by nightלָ֑יְלָהLa.ye.lahH3915,who stirs upרֹגַ֤עro.Ga'H7280the seaהַיָּם֙hai.YamH3220so that its wavesגַלָּ֔יוga.LavH1530roarוַיֶּהֱמ֣וּvai.ye.he.MuH1993—the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635is His nameשְׁמֽוֹ׃she.MoH8034:

36“Only ifאִם־'im-H518thisהָאֵ֛לֶּהha.'E.lehH428fixed orderהַחֻקִּ֥יםha.chu.KimH2706departedיָמֻ֜שׁוּya.Mu.shuH4185from My presenceמִלְּפָנַ֖יmi.le.fa.NaiH6440,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,would Israel’sיִשְׂרָאֵ֜לYis.ra.'ElH3478descendantsזֶ֨רַעZe.ra'H2233גַּם֩gamH1571everכָּל־ הַיָּמִֽים׃ סkol- hai.ya.MimH3605 H3117ceaseיִשְׁבְּת֗וּyish.be.TuH7673to beמִֽהְי֥וֹתmih.YotH1961a nationגּ֛וֹיGoyH1471before Meלְפָנַ֖יle.fa.NaiH6440.”

37This is whatכֹּ֣ה׀kohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: “Only ifאִם־'im-H518the heavensשָׁמַ֙יִם֙sha.Ma.yimH8064aboveמִלְמַ֔עְלָהmil.Ma'.lahH4605could be measuredיִמַּ֤דּוּyi.Ma.duH4058and the foundationsמֽוֹסְדֵי־mos.dei-H4144of the earthאֶ֖רֶץ'E.retzH776belowלְמָ֑טָּה גַּם־le.Ma.tah gam-H4295 H1571searched outוְיֵחָקְר֥וּve.ye.cha.ke.RuH2713would Iאֲנִ֞י'a.NiH589rejectאֶמְאַ֨ס'em.'AsH3988allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605of Israel’sיִשְׂרָאֵ֛לYis.ra.'ElH3478descendantsזֶ֧רַעZe.ra'H2233because ofעַֽל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834they have doneעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.

38“The daysיָמִ֥ים בָּאִ֖יםya.Mimya.Mim/ /ba.'Imba.'ImH3117are comingהִנֵּ֛הhi.NehH2009,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “when this cityהָעִיר֙ha.'IrH5892will be rebuiltוְנִבְנְתָ֤הve.niv.ne.TahH1129forלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068Me,from the towerמִמִּגְדַּ֥לmi.mig.DalH4026of Hananelחֲנַנְאֵ֖לcha.nan.'ElH2606to the Cornerהַפִּנָּֽה׃ha.pi.NahH6438Gateשַׁ֥עַרSha.'arH8179.

39The measuringהַמִּדָּה֙ha.mi.DahH4060lineH6961will once againע֜וֹדodH5750stretch outוְיָצָ֨אve.ya.Tza'H3318straightנֶגְדּ֔וֹneg.DoH5048toעַ֖ל'alH5921the hillגִּבְעַ֣תgiv.'AtH1389of Garebגָּרֵ֑בga.RevH1619and then turnוְנָסַ֖בve.na.SavH5437toward Goahגֹּעָֽתָה׃go.'A.tahH1601.

40The wholeוְכָל־ve.kholH3605valleyהָעֵ֣מֶקha.'E.mekH6010of the dead bodiesהַפְּגָרִ֣ים׀ha.pe.ga.RimH6297and ashesוְהַדֶּ֡שֶׁןve.ha.De.shenH1880,and allוְכָֽל־ve.kholH3605the fieldsH8309asעַד־'ad-H5704far as the Kidronקִדְר֜וֹןkid.RonH6939Valleyנַ֨חַלNa.chalH5158,toעַד־'ad-H5704the cornerפִּנַּ֨תpi.NatH6438of the Horseהַסּוּסִים֙ha.su.SimH5483Gateשַׁ֤עַרSha.'arH8179to the eastמִזְרָ֔חָהmiz.Ra.chahH4217,will be holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944to the LORDלַֽיהוָ֑הla.Yah.wehH3068.It will neverלֹֽא־ לְעוֹלָֽם׃ סlo'- le.'o.LamH3808 H5769againע֖וֹדodH5750be uprootedיִנָּתֵ֧שׁ וְֽלֹא־yi.na.Tesh ve.lo'-H5428 H3808or demolishedיֵהָרֵ֛סye.ha.ResH2040.”
