9beholdהִנְנִ֣יhi.NiH2005,I will summonשֹׁלֵ֡חַ וְלָקַחְתִּי֩sho.Le.ach ve.la.kach.TiH7971 H3947אֶת־'et-H853allכָּל־kol-H3605the familiesמִשְׁפְּח֨וֹתmish.pe.ChotH4940of the northצָפ֜וֹןtza.FonH6828,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,andוְאֶל־ve.'el-H413I will send forMy servantעַבְדִּי֒'av.DiH5650Nebuchadnezzarנְבֽוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֣רne.vu.khad.re.TzarH5019kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶל֮ba.VelH894,whom I will bringוַהֲבִ֨אֹתִ֜יםva.ha.Vi.'o.TimH935againstעַל־'al-H5921thisהַזֹּאת֙ha.zoTH2063landהָאָ֤רֶץha.'A.retzH776,againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921its residentsיֹ֣שְׁבֶ֔יהָyo.she.Vei.haH3427,and againstוְעַ֛לve.'AlH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605theהָאֵ֖לֶּהha.'E.lehH428surroundingסָבִ֑יבsa.VivH5439nationsהַגּוֹיִ֥םha.go.YimH1471.So I will devote them to destructionוְהַ֣חֲרַמְתִּ֔יםve.Ha.cha.ram.TimH2763and make themוְשַׂמְתִּים֙ve.sam.TimH7760an object of horrorלְשַׁמָּ֣הle.sha.MahH8047and contemptוְלִשְׁרֵקָ֔הve.lish.re.KahH8322,an everlastingעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769desolationוּלְחָרְב֖וֹתu.le.cha.re.VotH2723.

10Moreover, I will banishוְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֣יve.ha.'a.vad.TiH6from themthe soundsק֤וֹלKolH6963of joyשָׂשׂוֹן֙sa.sOnH8342and gladnessשִׂמְחָ֔הsim.ChahH8057,the voicesוְק֣וֹלve.KolH6963of the brideכַּלָּ֑הka.LahH3618andק֥וֹלKolH6963bridegroomחָתָ֖ן וְק֣וֹלcha.Tan ve.KolH2860 H6963,the soundק֥וֹלKolH6963of the millstonesרֵחַ֖יִםre.Cha.yimH7347,and the lightוְא֥וֹרve.'orH216of the lampנֵֽר׃NerH5216.

11And thisהַזֹּ֔אתha.ZotH2063wholeכָּל־kol-H3605landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776will becomeוְהָֽיְתָה֙ve.ha.ye.TahH1961a desolateלְחָרְבָּ֖הle.cha.re.BahH2723wastelandלְשַׁמָּ֑הle.sha.MahH8047,and theseהָאֵ֛לֶּהha.'E.lehH428אֶת־'et-H853nationsהַגּוֹיִ֥םha.go.YimH1471will serveוְעָ֨בְד֜וּve.'A.ve.DuH5647the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894for seventyשִׁבְעִ֥יםshiv.'ImH7657yearsשָׁנָֽה׃sha.NahH8141.

12But whenוְהָיָ֣הve.ha.YahH1961seventyשִׁבְעִ֣יםshiv.'ImH7657yearsשָׁנָ֡הsha.NahH8141are completeכִמְלֹ֣אותkhim.LotH4390,I will punishאֶפְקֹ֣ד עַל־'ef.Kod 'al-H6485 H5921the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶל֩ וְעַל־ba.Vel ve.'al-H894 H5921and thatהַה֧וּאha.Hu'H1931nationהַגּ֨וֹיha.GoyH1471,the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of the Chaldeansכַּשְׂדִּ֑יםkas.DimH3778,for their guiltעֲוֹנָ֖ם וְעַל־'a.vo.Nam ve.'al-H5771 H5921,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068אֶת־'et-H853,and I will makeוְשַׂמְתִּ֥יve.sam.TiH7760itאֹת֖וֹ'o.ToH853an everlastingעוֹלָֽם׃o.LamH5769desolationלְשִֽׁמְמ֥וֹתle.shi.MotH8077.

13I will bringוְהֵֽבֵאתִי֙ve.he.ve.tiH935uponעַל־'al-H5921thatהַהִ֔יאha.Hi'H1931אֶת־'et-H853landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776allכָּל־kol-H3605the wordsדְּבָרַ֖יde.va.RaiH1697אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834I have pronouncedדִּבַּ֣רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696against itעָלֶ֑יהָ'a.Lei.haH5921אֵ֤ת'etH853,allכָּל־kol-H3605that is writtenהַכָּתוּב֙ha.ka.TuvH3789in thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088bookבַּסֵּ֣פֶרba.Se.ferH5612,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414has prophesiedנִבָּ֥אni.Ba'H5012againstעַל־'al-H5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִֽם׃ha.go.YimH1471.

14Forכִּ֣יkiH3588manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227nationsגּוֹיִ֣םgo.YimH1471and greatגְּדוֹלִ֑יםge.do.LimH1419kingsוּמְלָכִ֖יםu.me.la.KhimH4428will enslaveעָֽבְדוּ־'a.ve.du-H5647גַּם־gam-H1571themהֵ֙מָּה֙he.mahH1992,and I will repayוְשִׁלַּמְתִּ֥יve.shi.lam.TiH7999themaccording to their deedsכְּפָעֳלָ֖םke.fo.'o.LamH6467and according to the workוּכְמַעֲשֵׂ֥הu.khe.ma.'a.SehH4639of their handsיְדֵיהֶֽם׃ סye.dei.HemH3027.’”

15כִּ֣יkiH3588This is whatכֹה֩khohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478,saidאָמַ֨ר'a.MarH559to meאֵלַ֔י'e.LaiH413: “Takeקַ֠חkachH3947אֶת־'et-H853from My handמִיָּדִ֑יmi.ya.DiH3027thisהַזֹּ֖אתha.ZotH2063cupכּ֨וֹסKosH3563of the wineהַיַּ֧יִןhai.Ya.yinH3196of wrathהַחֵמָ֛הha.che.MahH2534,and make allכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471to whomאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834Iאָנֹכִ֛י'a.no.KhiH595sendשֹׁלֵ֥חַsho.Le.achH7971אֹתוֹ֙'o.ToH853youאֲלֵיהֶֽם׃'a.lei.HemH413drinkוְהִשְׁקִיתָ֤הve.hish.ki.TahH8248from itאֶת־'et-H853אוֹתְךָ֖'ot.KhaH853.

16And they will drinkוְשָׁת֕וּve.sha.TuH8354and staggerוְהִֽתְגֹּֽעֲשׁ֖וּve.hit.go.'a.ShuH1607and go out of their mindsוְהִתְהֹלָ֑לוּve.hit.ho.La.luH1984,because ofמִפְּנֵ֣יmi.pe.NeiH6440the swordהַחֶ֔רֶבha.Che.revH2719thatאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834Iאָנֹכִ֥י'a.no.KhiH595will sendשֹׁלֵ֖חַsho.Le.achH7971among themבֵּינֹתָֽם׃bei.no.TamH996.”

17So I tookוָאֶקַּ֥חva.'e.KachH3947אֶת־'et-H853the cupהַכּ֖וֹסha.KosH3563from the LORD’sיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068handמִיַּ֣דmi.YadH3027and made allכָּל־kol-H3605the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471drinkוָֽאַשְׁקֶה֙va.'ash.KehH8248from itאֶת־'et-H853אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834,each one to whomאֲלֵיהֶֽם׃'a.lei.HemH413the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068had sent meשְׁלָחַ֥נִיshe.la.Cha.niH7971,

18to makeלָתֵ֨תla.TetH5414themאֶת־'et-H853a ruinלְחָרְבָּ֧הle.cha.re.BahH2723,an object of horrorלְשַׁמָּ֛הle.sha.MahH8047and contemptלִשְׁרֵקָ֥הlish.re.KahH8322and cursingוְלִקְלָלָ֖הve.lik.la.LahH7045,as they are to thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088dayכַּיּ֥וֹםkai.YomH3117וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853—Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389וְאֶת־ve.'EtH853and the citiesעָרֵ֣י'a.ReiH5892of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063אֶת־'et-H853,its kingsמְלָכֶ֖יהָme.la.Khei.haH4428אֹתָ֜ם'o.TamH853and officialsשָׂרֶ֑יהָsa.Rei.haH8269;
