29When the timeיְמֵֽי־ye.mei-H3117drew nearוַיִּקְרְב֣וּvai.yik.re.VuH7126for Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֘לYis.ra.'ElH3478to dieלָמוּת֒la.MutH4191,he calledוַיִּקְרָ֣א׀vai.yik.Ra'H7121his sonלִבְנ֣וֹliv.NoH1121Josephלְיוֹסֵ֗ףle.yo.SefH3130and saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Ifאִם־ נָ֨א'im- na'H518 H4994I have foundמָצָ֤אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672favorחֵן֙chenH2580in your eyesבְּעֵינֶ֔יךָbe.'ei.Nei.khaH5869,putשִֽׂים־ נָ֥אsim- na'H7760 H4994your handיָדְךָ֖ya.de.KhaH3027underתַּ֣חַתTa.chatH8478my thighיְרֵכִ֑יye.re.KhiH3409and promise to showוְעָשִׂ֤יתָve.'a.Si.taH6213meעִמָּדִי֙'i.ma.DiH5978kindnessחֶ֣סֶדChe.sedH2617and faithfulnessוֶאֱמֶ֔תve.'e.MetH571.Do notאַל־ נָ֥א'al- na'H408 H4994bury meתִקְבְּרֵ֖נִיtik.be.Re.niH6912in Egyptבְּמִצְרָֽיִם׃be.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,

30but when I lie downוְשָֽׁכַבְתִּי֙ve.sha.khav.TiH7901withעִם־'im-H5973my fathersאֲבֹתַ֔י'a.vo.TaiH1,carry meוּנְשָׂאתַ֙נִי֙u.ne.sa.Ta.niH5375out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714and bury meוּקְבַרְתַּ֖נִיu.ke.var.Ta.niH6912with themבִּקְבֻרָתָ֑םbik.vu.ra.TamH6900.”Joseph answeredוַיֹּאמַ֕רvai.yo.MarH559, “Iאָנֹכִ֖י'a.no.KhiH595will doאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥ה'e.'e.SehH6213as you have requestedכִדְבָרֶֽךָ׃khid.va.Re.khaH1697.”

31“Swearהִשָּֽׁבְעָה֙hi.sha.ve.'AhH7650to me,”Jacob saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559.So Joseph sworeוַיִּשָּׁבַ֖עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650to him,and Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478bowedוַיִּשְׁתַּ֥חוּvai.yish.Ta.chuH7812in worshipatעַל־'al-H5921the headרֹ֥אשׁroshH7218of his bedהַמִּטָּֽה׃ פha.mi.TahH4296.
