32Let me goאֶֽעֱבֹ֨ר'e.'e.VorH5674through allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605your flocksצֹֽאנְךָ֜tzo.ne.KhaH6629todayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117and removeהָסֵ֨רha.SerH5493from themמִשָּׁ֜םmi.ShamH8033everyכָּל־kol-H3605speckledנָקֹ֣דna.KodH5348or spottedוְטָל֗וּאve.ta.Lu'H2921sheepשֶׂ֣ה׀sehH7716,everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605dark-coloredחוּם֙chumH2345lambשֶׂה־ בַּכְּשָׂבִ֔יםseh- ba.ke.sa.VimH7716 H3775,and every spottedוְטָל֥וּאve.ta.Lu'H2921or speckledוְנָקֹ֖דve.na.KodH5348goatבָּעִזִּ֑יםba.'i.ZimH5795.These will beוְהָיָ֖הve.ha.YahH1961my wagesשְׂכָרִֽי׃se.kha.RiH7939.

33So my honestyצִדְקָתִי֙tzid.ka.TiH6666will testifyוְעָֽנְתָה־ve.'a.ne.tah-H6030for mewhenכִּֽי־ki-H3588you come to checkתָב֥וֹא לְפָנֶ֑יךָta.Vo' le.fa.Nei.khaH935 H6440onעַל־'al-H5921my wagesשְׂכָרִ֖יse.kha.RiH7939in the futureבְּי֣וֹם מָחָ֔רbe.Yom ma.CharH3117 H4279.If I haveאִתִּֽי׃'i.TiH854anyכֹּ֣לkolH3605goatsבָּֽעִזִּ֗יםba.'i.ZimH5795thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834are notאֵינֶנּוּ֩'ei.ne.NuH369speckledנָקֹ֨דna.KodH5348or spottedוְטָל֜וּאve.ta.Lu'H2921,or any lambsבַּכְּשָׂבִ֔יםba.ke.sa.VimH3775that are not dark-coloredוְחוּם֙ve.ChumH2345,theyה֖וּאhu'H1931will be considered stolenגָּנ֥וּבga.NuvH1589.”

35That veryהַה֨וּאha.Hu'H1931אֶת־'et-H853dayבַּיּוֹם֩bai.yOmH3117Laban removedוַיָּ֣סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493all the streakedהָֽעֲקֻדִּ֣יםha.'a.ku.DimH6124or spottedוְהַטְּלֻאִ֗יםve.ha.te.lu.'ImH2921male goatsהַתְּיָשִׁ֜יםha.te.ya.ShimH8495andוְאֵ֤תve.'EtH853everyכָּל־kol-H3605speckledהַנְּקֻדּ֣וֹתha.ne.ku.DotH5348or spottedוְהַטְּלֻאֹ֔תve.ha.te.lu.'OtH2921female goatהָֽעִזִּים֙ha.'i.ZimH5795—every oneכֹּ֤לkolH3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834had any whiteלָבָן֙la.VanH3836on it—and everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605dark-coloredח֖וּםchumH2345lambבַּכְּשָׂבִ֑יםba.ke.sa.VimH3775,and he placed themוַיִּתֵּ֖ןvai.yi.TenH5414under the careבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of his sonsבָּנָֽיו׃ba.NavH1121.

36Then he putוַיָּ֗שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760a three-dayשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת יָמִ֔יםshe.Lo.shet ya.MimH7969 H3117journeyדֶּ֚רֶךְDe.rekhH1870between himselfH996and Jacobיַעֲקֹ֑בya.'a.KoH3290,while Jacobוְיַעֲקֹ֗בve.ya.'a.KoH3290was shepherdingרֹעֶ֛הro.'EhH7462אֶת־'et-H853the restהַנּוֹתָרֹֽת׃ha.no.ta.RotH3498of Laban’sלָבָ֖ןla.VanH3837flocksצֹ֥אןtzonH6629.

37Jacob, howeverיַעֲקֹ֗בya.'a.KoH3290,tookוַיִּֽקַּֽח־vai.yi.kach-H3947freshלַ֖חlachH3892branchesמַקַּ֥לma.KalH4731of poplarלִבְנֶ֛הliv.NehH3839,almondוְל֣וּזve.LuzH3869,and plane treesוְעֶרְמ֑וֹןve.'er.MonH6196,and peeledוַיְפַצֵּ֤לvay.fa.TzelH6478the bark,exposingלְבָנ֔וֹת מַחְשֹׂף֙le.va.Not mach.SofH4286 H3836אֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834the whiteהַלָּבָ֔ןha.la.VanH3836inner woodפְּצָל֣וֹתpe.tza.LotH6479ofעַל־'al-H5921the branchesהַמַּקְלֽוֹת׃ha.mak.LotH4731.
