8“Ifאִתָּ֖ם אִם־ יֵ֣שׁ'i.Tam 'im- yeshH518 H3426 H854you are willingנַפְשְׁכֶ֗םnaf.she.KhemH5315for me to buryלִקְבֹּ֤רlik.BorH6912אֶת־'et-H853my deadמֵתִי֙me.TiH4191,”he saidוַיְדַבֵּ֥רvay.da.BerH1696to themלֵאמֹ֑ר אֶֽת־ מִלְּפָנַ֔יle.Mor 'et- mi.le.fa.NaiH854 H559 H6440, “listen to meשְׁמָע֕וּנִיshe.ma.'U.niH8085,and approachוּפִגְעוּ־u.fig.'u-H6293Ephronבְּעֶפְר֥וֹןbe.'ef.RonH6085sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Zoharצֹֽחַר׃Tzo.charH6714on my behalf

9to sellוְיִתֶּן־ve.yi.ten-H5414meאֶת־'et-H853the caveמְעָרַ֤תme.'a.RatH4631of Machpelahהַמַּכְפֵּלָה֙ha.makh.pe.LahH4375that belongsאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834to him;itאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834is at the endבִּקְצֵ֣הbik.TzehH7097of his fieldשָׂדֵ֑הוּsa.De.huH7704.Let him sell itיִתְּנֶ֥נָּהyi.te.Ne.nahH5414to mein your presenceבְּתוֹכְכֶ֖םbe.tokh.KhemH8432for fullמָלֵ֜אma.Le'H4392priceבְּכֶ֨סֶףbe.Khe.sefH3701,so that I may have a burialקָֽבֶר׃Ka.verH6913siteלַאֲחֻזַּת־la.'a.chu.zat-H272.”

10Now Ephronוְעֶפְר֥וֹןve.'ef.RonH6085was sittingיֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427amongבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the sonsבְּנֵי־be.nei-H1121of Hethחֵ֑תChetH2845.So in the presenceבְּאָזְנֵ֣יbe.'a.ze.NeiH241of allלְכֹ֛לle.KholH3605the Hittitesבְנֵי־ חֵ֔תve.nei- ChetH1121 H2845who had comeבָּאֵ֥יba.'EiH935to the gateשַֽׁעַר־sha.'ar-H8179of his cityעִיר֖וֹ לֵאמֹֽר׃i.Ro le.MorH5892 H559,Ephronעֶפְר֨וֹןef.RonH6085the Hittiteהַחִתִּ֤יha.chi.TiH2850אֶת־'et-H853answeredוַיַּעַן֩vai.ya.'AnH6030Abrahamאַבְרָהָם֙'av.ra.HamH85,
