34וַֽיְהִי֙vay.HiH1961The next dayמִֽמָּחֳרָ֔תmi.mo.cho.RatH4283the olderהַבְּכִירָה֙ha.be.khi.RahH1067daughtersaidוַתֹּ֤אמֶרva.To.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413the youngerהַצְּעִירָ֔הha.tze.'i.RahH6810, “Lookהֵן־hen-H2005,I slept withשָׁכַ֥בְתִּיsha.Khav.tiH7901my fatherאָבִ֑י'a.ViH1last nightאֶ֖מֶשׁ'E.meshH570אֶת־'et-H853.Let us get him drunkנַשְׁקֶ֨נּוּnash.Ke.nuH8248with wineיַ֜יִןYa.yinH3196againגַּם־gam-H1571tonightהַלַּ֗יְלָהha.Lay.lahH3915so you can go inוּבֹ֙אִי֙u.Vo.'iH935andsleepשִׁכְבִ֣יshikh.ViH7901with himעִמּ֔וֹi.MoH5973and we can preserveוּנְחַיֶּ֥הu.ne.chai.YehH2421our father’sמֵאָבִ֖ינוּme.'a.Vi.nuH1lineזָֽרַע׃Za.ra'H2233.”
35So againגַּ֣םgamH1571thatהַה֛וּאha.Hu'H1931אֶת־'et-H853nightבַּלַּ֧יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915they got their fatherאֲבִיהֶ֖ן'a.vi.HenH1drunkוַתַּשְׁקֶ֜יןָva.tash.Kei.naH8248with wineיָ֑יִןYa.yinH3196,and the youngerהַצְּעִירָה֙ha.tze.'i.RahH6810daughterwent inוַתָּ֤קָםva.Ta.komH6965and sleptוַתִּשְׁכַּ֣בva.tish.KavH7901with himעִמּ֔וֹi.MoH5973;he was notוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808awareיָדַ֥עya.Da'H3045when she lay downבְּשִׁכְבָ֖הּbe.shikh.VahH7901or when she got upוּבְקֻמָֽהּ׃u.ve.ku.MahH6965.
37The olderהַבְּכִירָה֙ha.be.khi.RahH1067daughtergave birth toוַתֵּ֤לֶדva.Te.ledH3205a sonבֵּ֔ןBenH1121and named himוַתִּקְרָ֥א שְׁמ֖וֹva.tik.Ra' she.MoH7121H8034Moabמוֹאָ֑בmo.'AvH4124.Heה֥וּאhu'H1931is the fatherאֲבִֽי־'a.vi-H1of the Moabitesמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124ofעַד־'ad-H5704todayהַיּֽוֹם׃hai.YomH3117.
38The youngerוְהַצְּעִירָ֤הve.ha.tze.'i.RahH6810daughterהִוא֙hi'H1931alsoגַם־gam-H1571gave birth toיָ֣לְדָהYal.dahH3205a sonבֵּ֔ןBenH1121,and she namedוַתִּקְרָ֥אva.tik.Ra'H7121himשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034Ben-ammiה֛וּאhu'H1151H1931.He is the fatherאֲבִ֥י'a.ViH1of the Ammonitesבְנֵֽי־ עַמּ֖וֹןve.nei- a.MonH1121H5983ofעַד־'ad-H5704todayהַיּֽוֹם׃ סhai.YomH3117.
