20I saidוָאֹמַ֖רva.'o.MarH559אֲלֵכֶ֑ם'a.le.KhemH413: “You have reachedבָּאתֶם֙ עַד־ba.Tem 'ad-H935 H5704the hill countryהַ֣רharH2022of the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֔יha.'e.mo.RiH567,whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the LORDיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430is givingנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414us.

21Seeרְ֠אֵהRe.'ehH7200,the LORDיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430has placedנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776before youלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440אֶת־'et-H853.Go upעֲלֵ֣ה'a.LehH5927and take possession ofרֵ֗שׁReshH3423it asכַּאֲשֶׁר֩ka.'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of your fathersאֲבֹתֶ֙יךָ֙'a.vo.Tei.khaH1,has told youדִּבֶּ֨רdi.BerH1696.Do notאַל־'al-H408be afraidתִּירָ֖א וְאַל־ti.Ra' ve.'al-H3372 H408or discouragedתֵּחָֽת׃te.ChatH2865.”

23The planהַדָּבָ֑רha.da.VarH1697seemedבְּעֵינַ֖יbe.'ei.NaiH5869good to meוַיִּיטַ֥בvai.yi.TavH3190,so I selectedוָאֶקַּ֤חva.'e.KachH3947twelveשְׁנֵ֣ים עָשָׂ֣ר אֲנָשִׁ֔יםshe.Neim 'a.Sar 'a.na.ShimH8147 H6240 H582menאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376from among you,oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259from each tribeלַשָּֽׁבֶט׃la.Sha.vetH7626.

24They leftוַיִּפְנוּ֙vai.yif.NuH6437and went upוַיַּעֲל֣וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927into the hill countryהָהָ֔רָהha.Ha.rahH2022,and cameוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935toעַד־'ad-H5704the Valleyנַ֣חַלNa.chalH5158of Eshcolאֶשְׁכֹּ֑ל'esh.KolH812and spied outוַֽיְרַגְּל֖וּvay.ra.ge.LuH7270the landאֹתָֽהּ׃'o.TahH853.

27You grumbledוַתֵּרָגְנ֤וּva.te.ra.ge.NuH7279in your tentsבְאָהֳלֵיכֶם֙ve.'o.ho.lei.KhemH168and saidוַתֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ בְּשִׂנְאַ֤תva.To.me.Ru be.sin.'AtH559 H8135, “Because the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hates usאֹתָ֔נוּ'o.Ta.nuH853,He has brought us outהוֹצִיאָ֖נוּho.tzi.'A.nuH3318of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714to deliverלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414usאֹתָ֛נוּ'o.Ta.nuH853into the handבְּיַ֥דbe.YadH3027of the Amoritesהָאֱמֹרִ֖יha.'e.mo.RiH567to be annihilatedלְהַשְׁמִידֵֽנוּ׃le.hash.mi.De.nuH8045.

29So I saidוָאֹמַ֖רva.'o.MarH559to youאֲלֵכֶ֑ם'a.le.KhemH413: “Do notלֹא־lo'-H3808be terrifiedתַֽעַרְצ֥וּן וְֽלֹא־ta.'ar.Tzun ve.lo'-H6206 H3808or afraidתִֽירְא֖וּןtir.'UnH3372of them!

30The LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙'e.lo.hei.KhemH430,who goesהַהֹלֵ֣ךְha.ho.LekhH1980before youלִפְנֵיכֶ֔ם ה֖וּאlif.nei.Khem hu'H6440 H1931,will fightיִלָּחֵ֣םyi.la.ChemH3898for you,just asכְּ֠כֹלKe.kholH3605אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834you saw Himלְעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.KhemH5869doעָשָׂ֧ה'a.SahH6213for youאִתְּכֶ֛ם'i.te.KhemH854in Egyptבְּמִצְרַ֖יִםbe.mitz.Ra.yimH4714

31andרָאִ֔יתָra.'I.taH7200in the wildernessוּבַמִּדְבָּר֙u.va.mid.BarH4057,whereאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430אֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834carried youנְשָׂאֲךָ֙ne.sa.'a.KhaH5375,asכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834a manאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376אֶת־'et-H853carriesיִשָּׂא־yi.sa'-H5375his sonבְּנ֑וֹbe.NoH1121,allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605the wayהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870by whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you traveledהֲלַכְתֶּ֔םha.lakh.TemH1980untilעַד־'ad-H5704you reachedבֹּאֲכֶ֖ם עַד־bo.'a.Khem 'ad-H935 H5704thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088placeהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725.”
