1“At thatהַהִיא֩ha.Hi'H1931timeוּבָעֵ֣תu.va.'EtH6256Michaelמִֽיכָאֵ֜לmi.kha.'ElH4317,the greatהַגָּד֗וֹלha.ga.DolH1419princeהַשַּׂ֣רha.SarH8269who stands watchיַעֲמֹ֨דya.'a.ModH5975overעַל־'al-H5921your peopleבְּנֵ֣י עַמֶּךָ֒be.Nei 'a.me.KhaH1121 H5971,will rise upהָעֹמֵד֮ha.'o.MedH5975.There will beוְהָיְתָה֙ve.ha.ye.TahH1961a timeעֵ֣ת'etH6256of distressצָרָ֔הtza.RahH6869,the likes of whichאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834will not haveלֹֽא־lo'-H3808occurredנִהְיְתָה֙nih.ye.TahH1961from the beginningמִֽהְי֣וֹתmih.YotH1961of nationsגּ֔וֹיGoyH1471untilעַ֖ד'adH5704thatהַהִ֑יאha.Hi'H1931timeהָעֵ֣תha.'EtH6256.But at thatהַהִיא֙ha.Hi'H1931timeוּבָעֵ֤תu.va.'EtH6256your peopleעַמְּךָ֔'a.me.KhaH5971—everyoneכָּל־kol-H3605whose nameis foundהַנִּמְצָ֖אha.nim.Tza'H4672writtenכָּת֥וּבka.TuvH3789in the bookבַּסֵּֽפֶר׃ba.Se.ferH5612—will be deliveredיִמָּלֵ֣טyi.ma.LetH4422.

2And manyוְרַבִּ֕יםve.ra.BimH7227who sleepמִיְּשֵׁנֵ֥יmi.ye.she.NeiH3463in the dustעָפָ֖ר'a.FarH6083of the earthאַדְמַת־'ad.mat-H127will awakeיָקִ֑יצוּya.Ki.tzuH6974,someאֵ֚לֶּה'E.lehH428to everlastingעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769lifeלְחַיֵּ֣יle.chai.YeiH2416,but othersוְאֵ֥לֶּהve.'E.lehH428to shameלַחֲרָפ֖וֹתla.cha.ra.FotH2781andeverlastingעוֹלָֽם׃ סo.LamH5769contemptלְדִרְא֥וֹןle.dir.'onH1860.

3Then the wiseוְהַ֨מַּשְׂכִּלִ֔יםve.Ha.mas.ki.LimH7919will shineיַזְהִ֖רוּyaz.Hi.ruH2094like the brightnessכְּזֹ֣הַרke.Zo.harH2096of the heavensהָרָקִ֑יעַha.ra.Ki.a'H7549,and those who lead manyהָֽרַבִּ֔יםha.ra.BimH7227to righteousnessוּמַצְדִּיקֵי֙u.matz.di.KeiH6663will shinelike the starsכַּכּוֹכָבִ֖יםka.ko.kha.VimH3556foreverלְעוֹלָ֥םle.'o.LamH5769and everוָעֶֽד׃ פva.'EdH5703.

4But youוְאַתָּ֣הve.'a.TahH859,DanielH1841,shut upסְתֹ֧םse.TomH5640these wordsהַדְּבָרִ֛יםha.de.va.RimH1697and sealוַחֲתֹ֥םva.cha.TomH2856the bookהַסֵּ֖פֶרha.Se.ferH5612untilעַד־'ad-H5704the timeעֵ֣ת'etH6256of the endקֵ֑ץKetzH7093.Manyרַבִּ֖יםra.BimH7227will roam to and froיְשֹׁטְט֥וּye.sho.te.TuH7751,and knowledgeהַדָּֽעַת׃ha.Da.'atH1847will increaseוְתִרְבֶּ֥הve.tir.BehH7235.”

5Then Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589,DanielH1841,lookedוְרָאִ֙יתִי֙ve.ra.'I.tiH7200and sawוְהִנֵּ֛הve.hi.NehH2009twoשְׁנַ֥יִםshe.Na.yimH8147othersאֲחֵרִ֖ים'a.che.RimH312standingעֹמְדִ֑ים'o.me.DimH5975thereהֵ֙נָּה֙he.nahH2008,oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259on this bankלִשְׂפַ֣תlis.FatH8193of the riverהַיְאֹ֔רhay.'OrH2975and oneוְאֶחָ֥דve.'e.ChadH259on the oppositeהֵ֖נָּהHe.nahH2008bankלִשְׂפַ֥ת הַיְאֹֽר׃lis.Fat hay.'OrH8193 H2975.

6One of them saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to the manלָאִישׁ֙la.'IshH376dressedלְב֣וּשׁle.VushH3847in linenהַבַּדִּ֔יםha.ba.DimH906,whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834was aboveמִמַּ֖עַלmi.Ma.'alH4605the watersלְמֵימֵ֣יle.mei.MeiH4325of the riverהַיְאֹ֑רhay.'OrH2975, “How longמָתַ֖יma.TaiH4970untilעַד־'ad-H5704the fulfillmentקֵ֥ץketzH7093of these wondersהַפְּלָאֽוֹת׃ha.pe.la.'otH6382?”

7And the manהָאִ֣ישׁ׀ha.'IshH376dressedלְב֣וּשׁle.VushH3847in linenהַבַּדִּ֗יםha.ba.DimH906,whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834was aboveמִמַּעַל֮mi.ma.'AlH4605the watersלְמֵימֵ֣יle.mei.MeiH4325of the riverהַיְאֹר֒hay.'OrH2975,raisedוַיָּ֨רֶםvai.Ya.remH7311his right handיְמִינ֤וֹye.mi.NoH3225and his left handוּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙u.se.mo.LoH8040towardאֶל־'el-H413heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and I heardוָאֶשְׁמַ֞עva.'esh.Ma'H8085himאֶת־'et-H853swearוַיִּשָּׁבַ֖עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650by Him who livesבְּחֵ֣יbe.CheiH2416foreverהָעוֹלָ֑םha.'o.LamH5769,sayingכִּי֩kiH3588, “It will be for a timeלְמוֹעֵ֨דle.mo.'EdH4150, andtimesמֽוֹעֲדִ֜יםmo.'a.DimH4150,and half a timeוָחֵ֗צִיva.Che.tziH2677.When the powerיַד־yad-H3027of the holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944peopleעַם־'am-H5971has finally beenוּכְכַלּ֛וֹתu.khe.kha.LotH3615shatteredנַפֵּ֥ץna.PetzH5310,allכָל־khol-H3605these thingsאֵֽלֶּה׃'E.lehH428will be completedתִּכְלֶ֥ינָהtikh.Lei.nahH3615.”

8Iוַאֲנִ֥יva.'a.NiH589heardשָׁמַ֖עְתִּיsha.Ma'.tiH8085,but I did notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808understandאָבִ֑ין'a.VinH995.So I askedוָאֹ֣מְרָ֔הva.'O.me.RahH559, “My lordאֲדֹנִ֕י'a.do.NiH113,whatמָ֥הmahH4100will be the outcomeאַחֲרִ֖ית'a.cha.RitH319of theseאֵֽלֶּה׃ פ'E.lehH428things?”

9“Go on your wayלֵ֣ךְlekhH1980,DanielH1841,”he repliedוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “forכִּֽי־ki-H3588the wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697areclosed upסְתֻמִ֧יםse.tu.MimH5640and sealedוַחֲתֻמִ֛יםva.cha.tu.MimH2856untilעַד־'ad-H5704the timeעֵ֥ת'etH6256of the endקֵֽץ׃KetzH7093.

10Manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227will be purifiedיִ֠תְבָּֽרֲרוּYit.ba.ra.ruH1305,made spotlessוְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּve.yit.la.be.NuH3835,and refinedוְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ve.yi.tza.re.FuH6884,but the wickedרְשָׁעִ֔יםre.sha.'ImH7563will continue to act wickedlyוְהִרְשִׁ֣יעוּve.hir.Shi.'uH7561.Noneוְלֹ֥א כָּל־ve.Lo' kol-H3808 H3605of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֑יםre.sha.'ImH7563will understandיָבִ֖ינוּya.Vi.nuH995,but the wiseוְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖יםve.ha.mas.ki.LimH7919will understandיָבִֽינוּ׃ya.Vi.nuH995.

11And from the timeוּמֵעֵת֙u.me.'EtH6256the dailyהַתָּמִ֔ידha.ta.MidH8548sacrificeis abolishedהוּסַ֣רhu.SarH5493and the abominationשִׁקּ֣וּץshi.KutzH8251of desolationשֹׁמֵ֑םsho.MemH8074set upוְלָתֵ֖תve.la.TetH5414,there will be 1,290אֶ֖לֶף מָאתַ֥יִם וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃'E.lef ma.Ta.yim ve.tish.'ImH505 H3967 H8673daysיָמִ֕יםya.MimH3117.

12Blessedאַשְׁרֵ֥י'ash.ReiH835ishe who waitsהַֽמְחַכֶּ֖הham.cha.KehH2442and reaches the endוְיַגִּ֑יעַve.ya.Gi.a'H5060of the 1,335אֶ֕לֶף שְׁלֹ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה׃'E.lef she.Losh me.'ot she.lo.Shim va.cha.mi.ShahH505 H7969 H3967 H7970 H2568daysלְיָמִ֕יםle.ya.MimH3117.

13But as for youוְאַתָּ֖הve.'a.TahH859,go on your wayלֵ֣ךְlekhH1980until the endלַקֵּ֑ץla.KetzH7093.You will restוְתָנ֛וּחַve.ta.Nu.achH5117,and then you will ariseוְתַעֲמֹ֥דve.ta.'a.ModH5975to your inheritanceלְגֹרָלְךָ֖le.go.ra.le.KhaH1486at the endלְקֵ֥ץle.KetzH7093of the daysהַיָּמִֽין׃hai.ya.MinH3117.”
