24And he didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213evilהָרַ֖עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068and did notלֹ֣אlo'H3808turn awayסָ֗רSarH5493from the sins thatמֵֽחַטֹּאות֙me.cha.tOtH2403Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֣םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָ֔טne.VatH5028אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834had caused Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478to commitהֶחֱטִ֖יאhe.che.Ti'H2398אֶת־'et-H853.

25Then his officerשָׁלִישׁ֗וֹsha.li.ShoH7991,Pekahפֶּ֨קַחPe.kachH6492sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Remaliahרְמַלְיָ֜הוּre.mal.Ya.huH7425,conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֣רvai.yik.ShorH7194against himעָלָיו֩'a.LavH5921along withאֶת־'et-H854Argobאַרְגֹּ֣ב וְאֶת־'ar.Go ve.'EtH709 H854,Ariehהָאַרְיֵ֔הha.'ar.YehH745,andוְעִמּ֛וֹve.'i.MoH5973fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםcha.mi.ShimH2572menאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376ofמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121Gileadגִלְעָדִ֑יםgil.'a.DimH1569.And at the citadelבְּאַרְמ֤וֹןbe.'ar.MonH759of the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428palaceבֵּית־beit-H1004in Samariaבְשֹׁמְר֜וֹןve.sho.me.RonH8111, Pekahstruck downוַיַּכֵּ֨הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221and killedוַיְמִיתֵ֖הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191Pekahiahand reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his placeתַּחְתָּֽיו׃tach.TavH8478.
