8You must surroundוְהִקַּפְתֶּ֨ם עַל־ve.hi.kaf.Tem 'al-H5362 H5921the kingהַמֶּ֜לֶךְ סָבִ֗יבha.Me.lekh sa.VivH4428 H5439with weaponsוְכֵלָ֣יוve.khe.LavH3627in handבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027,and anyoneאִ֚ישׁ'ishH376who approachesוְהַבָּ֥א אֶל־ve.ha.Ba' 'el-H935 H413the ranksהַשְּׂדֵר֖וֹתha.se.de.RotH7713must be put to deathיוּמָ֑תyu.MatH4191.You must stayוִהְי֥וּvih.YuH1961closeאֶת־'et-H854to the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428wherever he goesבְּצֵאת֥וֹ וּבְבֹאֽוֹ׃be.tze.To u.ve.vo.'OH3318 H935.”

9So the commandersשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of hundredsהַמֵּא֗וֹתha.me.yotH3967didוַֽיַּעֲשׂ֞וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213everythingכְּכֹ֣לke.KholH3605thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֣עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵן֒ha.ko.HenH3548had orderedצִוָּה֮tzi.VahH6680.Each of themאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376אֶת־'et-H853tookוַיִּקְחוּ֙vai.yik.ChuH3947his menאֲנָשָׁ֔יו'a.na.ShavH582—those coming on dutyבָּאֵ֣יba.'EiH935on the Sabbathהַשַּׁבָּ֔תha.sha.BatH7676andעִ֖ם'imH5973those going off dutyיֹצְאֵ֣י הַשַּׁבָּ֑תyo.tze.'Ei ha.sha.BatH3318 H7676—and cameוַיָּבֹ֖אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935toאֶל־'el-H413Jehoiadaיְהוֹיָדָ֥עye.ho.ya.Da'H3077the priestהַכֹּהֵֽן׃ha.ko.HenH3548.
