Hosea 8:1-6
Setthe trumpetH7782 to thy mouthH2441. As an eagleH5404 he cometh against the houseH1004 of Jehovah, because they have transgressedH6586 my covenantH1285, and trespassed against my lawH8451.
They shall cryH2199 unto me, My GodH430, we IsraelH3478 knowH3045 thee.
IsraelH3478 hath cast off that which is goodH2896: the enemyH341 shall pursueH7291 him.
They have set up kings, but not by me; they have madeH6213 princes, and I knewH3045 it not: of their silverH3701 and their goldH2091 have they madeH6213 them idolsH6091, that they may be cutH3772 off.
He hath cast off thy calfH5695, O SamariaH8111; mine angerH639 is kindled against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
For from IsraelH3478 is even this; the workman madeH6213 it, and it is no GodH430; yea, the calfH5695 of SamariaH8111 shall beH1961 broken in pieces.
