Revised Webster's Bible
Hosea 8:1-6
1Set the trumpetH7782 to thy mouthH2441. He shall come as an eagleH5404 against the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068, because they have transgressedH5674 my covenantH1285, and trespassedH6586 against my lawH8451.1
2IsraelH3478 shall cryH2199 to me, My GodH430, we knowH3045 thee.
3IsraelH3478 hath cast offH2186 the thing that is goodH2896: the enemyH341 shall pursueH7291 him.
4They have set up kingsH4427, but not by me: they have made princesH7786, and I knewH3045 it not: of their silverH3701 and their goldH2091 have they madeH6213 for themselves idolsH6091, that they may be cut offH3772.
5Thy calfH5695, O SamariaH8111, hath castH2186 thee off; my angerH639 is kindledH2734 against them: how long will it be ereH3808 they attainH3201 to innocencyH5356?
6For from IsraelH3478 was it also: the workmanH2796 madeH6213 it; therefore it is not GodH430: but the calfH5695 of SamariaH8111 shall be broken in piecesH7616.
