Hebrews 12:5-8
5and ye have forgotten the exhortationG3874 which reasoneth with you as with sonsG5207,
My sonG5207, regard not lightly the chastening of the LordG2962,Nor faintG1590 whenG5613 thou art reproved of him;6For whom the LordG2962 loveth he chasteneth,And scourgeth every sonG5207 whom he receiveth.
7It is for chastening that ye endureG5278; GodG2316 dealeth with you as with sonsG5207; for what sonG5207 is there whom his fatherG3962 chasteneth not? 8But if ye areG1510 without chastening, whereof all have beenG1510 made partakersG3353, then areG1510 ye bastards, and not sonsG5207.
