Hebrews 12:3-7
3For consider him that hath enduredG5278 suchG5108 gainsaying of sinnersG268 against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your soulsG5590. 4Ye have not yetG3768 resisted unto bloodG129, striving against sinG266: 5and ye have forgotten the exhortationG3874 which reasoneth with you as with sonsG5207,
My sonG5207, regard not lightly the chastening of the LordG2962,Nor faintG1590 whenG5613 thou art reproved of him;6For whom the LordG2962 loveth he chasteneth,And scourgeth every sonG5207 whom he receiveth.
7It is for chastening that ye endureG5278; GodG2316 dealeth with you as with sonsG5207; for what sonG5207 is there whom his fatherG3962 chasteneth not?
