1 Chronicles 28:1-3
1And DavidH1732 assembledH6950 all the princesH8269 of IsraelH3478, the princesH8269 of the tribesH7626, and the captains of the companies that servedH8334 the kingH4428 by course, and the captains of thousandsH505, and the captains of hundredsH3967, and the rulers over all the substance and possessionsH7399 of the kingH4428 and of his sonsH1121, with the officers, and the mightyH1368 menH1368, even all the mightyH1368 menH1368 of valor, unto JerusalemH3389.
2Then DavidH1732 the kingH4428 stoodH6965 up upon his feetH7272, and saidH559, HearH8085 me, my brethren, and my peopleH5971: as for me, it was in my heartH3824 to buildH1129 a houseH1004 of restH4496 for the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah, and for the footstool of our GodH430; and I had made ready for the buildingH1129.
3But GodH430 saidH559 unto me, Thou shalt not buildH1129 a houseH1004 for my nameH8034, because thou art a manH376 of warH4421, and hast shedH8210 bloodH1818.
