6And themanאִישׁ־'ish-H376ofGodהָאֱלֹהִ֖יםha.'E.lo.HimH430saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Whereאָ֣נָה'A.nahH575fellנָפָ֑לna.FalH5307it? And heshowedוַיַּרְאֵ֙הוּ֙vai.yar.'E.huH7200him theplaceהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725. And he cutdownוַיִּקְצָב־vai.yik.tzov-H7094astickעֵץ֙'etzH6086, andcastוַיַּשְׁלֶךְ־vai.yash.lekh-H7993it in there; and made the axeheadהַבַּרְזֶֽל׃ha.bar.ZelH1270floatוַיָּ֖צֶףvai.Ya.tzefH6687.

7Thereforesaidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559he, Take itupהָ֣רֶםHa.remH7311to thee. And he putoutוַיִּשְׁלַ֥חvai.yish.LachH7971hishandיָד֖וֹya.DoH3027, andtookוַיִּקָּחֵֽהוּ׃ פvai.yi.ka.Che.huH3947it.

8Then thekingוּמֶ֣לֶךְu.Me.lekhH4428ofSyriaאֲרָ֔ם'a.RamH758warredנִלְחָ֖םnil.ChamH3898againstIsraelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478, and tookcounselוַיִּוָּעַץ֙vai.yi.va.'AtzH3289with hisservantsעֲבָדָ֣יו'a.va.DavH5650,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, Insuchפְּלֹנִ֥יpe.lo.NiH6423andsuchאַלְמֹנִ֖י'al.mo.NiH492aplaceמְק֛וֹםme.KomH4725shall be mycampתַּחֲנֹתִֽי׃ta.cha.no.TiH8466.
