6Andkingהַמֶּ֧לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Jehoramיְהוֹרָ֛םye.ho.RamH3088wentoutוַיֵּצֵ֞אvai.ye.Tze'H3318ofSamariaמִשֹּׁמְר֑וֹןmi.sho.me.RonH8111the sametimeבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117, andnumberedוַיִּפְקֹ֖דvai.yif.KodH6485allIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

7And hewentH3212andsentוַיִּשְׁלַח֩vai.yish.LachH7971toJehoshaphatיְהוֹשָׁפָ֨טye.ho.sha.FatH3092thekingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428ofJudahיְהוּדָ֜הye.hu.DahH3063,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559, Thekingמֶ֤לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofMoabמוֹאָב֙mo.'AvH4124hathrebelledפָּשַׁ֣עpa.Sha'H6586against me: wilt thougoH3212with me againstMoabמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124tobattleלַמִּלְחָמָ֑הla.mil.cha.MahH4421? 9So thekingמֶ֨לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֤לYis.ra.'ElH3478wentH3212, and thekingוּמֶֽלֶך־u.Me.lekh-H4428ofJudahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063, and thekingוּמֶ֣לֶךְu.Me.lekhH4428ofEdomאֱד֔וֹם'e.DomH123: and they made acircuitוַיָּסֹ֕בּוּvai.ya.So.buH5437ofsevenשִׁבְעַ֣תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֑יםya.MimH3117’journeyדֶּ֖רֶךְDe.rekhH1870: and there was nowaterמַ֧יִםMa.yimH4325for thearmyלַֽמַּחֲנֶ֛הla.ma.cha.NehH4264, and for thecattleוְלַבְּהֵמָ֖הve.la.be.he.MahH929thatfollowedבְּרַגְלֵיהֶֽם׃be.rag.lei.HemH7272them.

10And thekingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Alasאֲהָ֕הּ'a.HahH162! that theLORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068hathcalledH7121thesethreeלִשְׁלֹ֙שֶׁת֙lish.Lo.shetH7969kingsהַמְּלָכִ֣יםha.me.la.KhimH4428togetherH7121, todeliverלָתֵ֥תla.TetH5414them into thehandבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027ofMoabמוֹאָֽב׃mo.'AvH4124!

11ButJehoshaphatיְהוֹשָׁפָ֗טye.ho.sha.FatH3092saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Is there not here aprophetנָבִיא֙na.Vi'H5030of theLORDלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068, that we mayenquireוְנִדְרְשָׁ֥הve.nid.re.ShahH1875of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068by him? 15But nowbringקְחוּ־ke.chu-H3947me aminstrelמְנַגֵּ֑ןme.na.GenH5059. And it came to pass, when theminstrelכְּנַגֵּ֣ןke.na.GenH5059playedהַֽמְנַגֵּ֔ןham.na.GenH5059, that thehandיַד־yad-H3027of theLORDיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068came upon him.

16And hesaidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, Thussaithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559theLORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,Makeעָשֹׂ֛ה'a.SohH6213thisvalleyהַנַּ֥חַלha.Na.chalH5158full ofditchesH1356.

17For thussaithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559theLORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068, Ye shall notseeתִרְא֥וּtir.'UH7200windר֙וּחַ֙Ru.achH7307, neither shall yeseeתִרְא֣וּtir.'UH7200rainגֶ֔שֶׁםGe.shemH1653; yet thatvalleyוְהַנַּ֥חַלve.ha.Na.chalH5158shall befilledיִמָּ֣לֵאyi.Ma.le'H4390withwaterמָ֑יִםMa.yimH4325, that ye maydrinkוּשְׁתִיתֶ֛םu.she.ti.TemH8354, both ye, and yourcattleוּמִקְנֵיכֶ֖םu.mik.nei.KhemH4735, and yourbeastsוּֽבְהֶמְתְּכֶֽם׃U.ve.hem.te.KhemH929.
