Revised Version 1895
Ezekiel 1:4-12
And I lookedH7200, and, beholdH2009, a stormy windH7307 cameH935 outH4480 of the northH6828, a greatH1419 cloudH6051, with a fireH784 infolding itself, and a brightnessH5051 roundH5439 aboutH5439 it, and outH4480 of the midstH8432 thereof as the colour of amberH2830, outH4480 of the midstH8432 of the fireH784.
And out of the midstH8432 thereof came the likenessH1823 of fourH702 livingH2416 creatures. And this was their appearanceH4758; they had the likenessH1823 of a manH120.
And everyH259 one had fourH702 facesH6440, and everyH259 one of them had fourH702 wingsH3671.
And their feetH7272 were straightH3477 feetH7272; and the soleH3709 of their feetH7272 was like the soleH3709 of a calf’sH5695 footH7272: and they sparkled like the colour of burnishedH7044 brassH5178.
And they had the handsH3027 of a manH120 underH8478 their wingsH3671 on their fourH702 sidesH7253: and they fourH702 had their facesH6440 and their wingsH3671 thus;
their wingsH3671 were joinedH2266 one to anotherH376; they turnedH5437 notH3808 when they wentH5437; they wentH5437 everyH376 one straightH5676 forwardH6440.
As for the likenessH1823 of their facesH6440, they had the faceH6440 of a manH120; and they fourH702 had the faceH6440 of a lionH738 on the rightH3225 sideH3225; and they fourH702 had the faceH6440 of an oxH7794 on the leftH8040 sideH3225; they fourH702 had also the faceH6440 of an eagleH5404.
And their facesH6440 and their wingsH3671 were separateH6504 aboveH4605; twoH8147 wingsH3671 of everyH376 one were joinedH2266 one to anotherH376, and twoH8147 coveredH3680 their bodiesH1472.
And they wentH5437 everyH376 one straightH5676 forwardH6440: whither the spiritH7307 was to goH5437, they wentH5437; they turnedH5437 notH3808 when they wentH5437.
