2AndGilead’sגִּלְעָ֛דgil.'AdH1568wifeאֵֽשֶׁת־'e.shet-H802bare himsonsבָּנִ֑יםba.NimH1121; and when hiswife’sהָאִשָּׁ֜הha.'i.ShahH802sonsבְֽנֵי־ve.nei-H1121grewH1431upH1431, they draveoutוַיְגָרְשׁ֣וּvay.ga.re.ShuH1644Jephthahיִפְתָּ֗חyif.TachH3316, andsaidוַיֹּ֤אמְרוּvai.Yo.me.ruH559unto him, Thou shaltnotלֹֽא־lo'-H3808inheritתִנְחַ֣לtin.ChalH5157in ourfather’sאָבִ֔ינוּ'a.Vi.nuH1houseבְּבֵית־be.veit-H1004; for thou art thesonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofanotherאַחֶ֖רֶת'a.Che.retH312womanאִשָּׁ֥ה'i.ShahH802.

3ThenJephthahיִפְתָּח֙yif.TachH3316fledוַיִּבְרַ֤חvai.yiv.RachH1272from hisbrethrenאֶחָ֔יו'e.ChavH251, anddweltוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427in thelandבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776ofTobט֑וֹבTovH2897: and there weregatheredוַיִּֽתְלַקְּט֤וּvai.yit.la.ke.TuH3950vainfellowsH376toJephthahיִפְתָּח֙yif.TachH3316, and theywentH3318outH3318with him.

4And itcameH1961topassH1961afterH1961awhileH1961, that thechildrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121ofAmmonעַמּ֖וֹןa.MonH5983madeH1961waragainstעִם־'im-H5973Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

5And it wassoלָקַ֥חַתla.Ka.chatH3947, that when thechildrenבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121ofAmmonעַמּ֖וֹןa.MonH5983madeH1961waragainstעִם־'im-H5973Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478, theeldersזִקְנֵ֣יzik.NeiH2205ofGileadגִלְעָ֔דgil.'AdH1568wentH1961to fetchJephthahיִפְתָּ֖חyif.TachH3316outאֶת־'et-H853of thelandמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776ofTobטֽוֹב׃TovH2897:
