15Nowעַתָּ֗ה'a.TahH6258mineeyesעֵינַי֙'ei.NaiH5869shall beopenפְתֻח֔וֹתfe.tu.ChotH6605, and mineearsוְאָזְנַ֖יve.'a.ze.NaiH241attent, unto theprayerלִתְפִלַּ֖תlit.fi.LatH8605that ismadeיִהְי֣וּyih.YuH1961in thisplaceהַמָּק֥וֹםha.ma.KomH4725.

16Fornowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258have Ichosenבָּחַ֤רְתִּיba.Char.tiH977and hallowed thishouseהַבַּ֣יִתha.Ba.yitH1004, that mynameשְׁמִ֥יshe.MiH8034may be there foreverH5769: and mineeyesעֵינַ֧י'ei.NaiH5869and mineheartוְלִבִּ֛יve.li.BiH3820shall be thereperpetuallyH5769.

19Butifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518yeturnתְּשׁוּב֣וּןte.shu.VunH7725awayH7725, andforsakeוַעֲזַבְתֶּם֙va.'a.zav.TemH5800mystatutesחֻקּוֹתַ֣יchu.ko.TaiH2708and mycommandmentsוּמִצְוֹתַ֔יu.mitz.vo.TaiH4687whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834I havesetנָתַ֖תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414beforeלִפְנֵיכֶ֑םlif.nei.KhemH6440youאַתֶּ֔ם'a.TemH859, and shallgoוַהֲלַכְתֶּ֗םva.ha.lakh.TemH1980andserveוַעֲבַדְתֶּם֙va.'a.vad.TemH5647otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430, andworshipוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶ֖םve.hish.ta.cha.vi.TemH7812them:

22And they shallanswerוְאָמְר֗וּve.'a.me.RuH559,BecauseH5921they forsook theLORDיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068, theGodאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of theirfathersאֲבֹתֵיהֶ֗ם'a.vo.tei.HemH1,whichH834broughtH935themforthH3318outH3318of thelandמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776ofEgyptמִצְרַיִם֒mitz.ra.YimH4714, andlaidH2388holdוַֽיַּחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙vai.ya.cha.Zi.kuH2388onotherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsבֵּאלֹהִ֣יםbe.lo.HimH430, and worshipped them, andservedוַיַּֽעַבְד֑וּםvai.ya.'av.DumH5647them: therefore hath hebroughtH935allכָּל־kol-H3605thisevilהָרָעָ֖הha.ra.'AhH7451uponH5921them.
