4Nowוְגַ֖םve.GamH1571whenJehoramיְהוֹרָ֜םye.ho.RamH3088wasrisenH6965upH6965over thekingdomמַמְלֶ֤כַתmam.Le.khatH4467of hisfatherאָבִיו֙'a.VivH1, and hadstrengthenedוַיִּתְחַזַּ֔קvai.yit.cha.ZakH2388himselfH2388, heslewוַיַּהֲרֹ֥גvai.ya.ha.RogH2026allכָּל־kol-H3605hisbrethrenאֶחָ֖יו'e.ChavH251with theswordבֶּחָ֑רֶבbe.Cha.revH2719, and divers also of theprincesמִשָּׂרֵ֥יmi.sa.ReiH8269ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.

7Howbeit theLORDיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068wouldnotוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808destroyלְהַשְׁחִית֙le.hash.ChitH7843thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofDavidדָּוִ֔ידda.VidH1732,becauseH834of thecovenantהַבְּרִ֔יתha.be.RitH1285that he hadmadeכָּרַ֖תka.RatH3772withDavidלְדָוִ֑ידle.da.VidH1732, and as hepromisedאָמַ֗ר'a.MarH559togiveלָתֵ֨תla.TetH5414alampנִ֛ירnirH5216to him and to hischildrenוּלְבָנָ֖יוu.le.va.NavH1121alway.
