6AndSaulשָׁא֖וּלsha.'UlH7586hearkened unto thevoiceבְּק֣וֹלbe.KolH6963ofJonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֑ןye.ho.na.TanH3083: andSaulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586sware, As theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068liveth, he shallnotאִם־'im-H518beputיוּמָֽת׃yu.MatH4191todeathH4191.

7AndJonathanיְהוֹנָתָן֙ye.ho.na.TanH3083calledוַיִּקְרָ֤אvai.yik.Ra'H7121Davidלְדָוִ֔דle.da.VidH1732, andJonathanיְה֣וֹנָתָ֔ןye.Ho.na.TanH3083shewed himallכָּל־kol-H3605thoseהָאֵ֑לֶּהha.'E.lehH428things. AndJonathanיְהוֹנָתָ֤ןye.ho.na.TanH3083broughtוַיָּבֵ֨אvai.ya.Ve'H935Davidדָּוִד֙da.VidH1732toSaulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586, and he was in hispresenceלְפָנָ֖יוle.fa.NavH6440, as beforetime.

8And there waswarהַמִּלְחָמָ֖הha.mil.cha.MahH4421againוַתּ֥וֹסֶףva.To.sefH3254: andDavidדָוִ֜דda.VidH1732wentH3318outH3318, andfoughtוַיִּלָּ֣חֶםvai.yi.La.chemH3898with thePhilistinesבַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗יםba.pe.lish.TimH6430, andslewוַיַּ֤ךְvai.YakhH5221them with agreatגְדוֹלָ֔הge.do.LahH1419slaughterמַכָּ֣הma.KahH4347; and theyfledוַיָּנֻ֖סוּvai.ya.Nu.suH5127beforeמִפָּנָֽיו׃mi.pa.NavH6440him.

9And anevilרָעָה֙ra.'AhH7451spiritר֨וּחַRu.achH7307from theLORDיְהוָ֤ה׀Yah.wehH3068wasuponוַתְּהִי֩va.te.HiH1961Saulשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586as hesatיוֹשֵׁ֔בyo.ShevH3427in hishouseבְּבֵית֣וֹbe.vei.ToH1004with hisspearוַחֲנִית֖וֹva.cha.ni.ToH2595in hishandבְּיָד֑וֹbe.ya.DoH3027; andDavidוְדָוִ֖דve.da.VidH1732playedמְנַגֵּ֥ןme.na.GenH5059with hishandבְּיָֽד׃be.YadH3027.

10AndSaulשָׁא֜וּלsha.'UlH7586soughtוַיְבַקֵּ֨שׁvay.va.KeshH1245tosmiteלְהַכּ֤וֹתle.ha.KotH5221Davidבְּדָוִ֣דbe.da.VidH1732evenאֶֽת־'et-H853to thewallוּבַקִּ֔ירu.va.KirH7023with thespearבַּֽחֲנִית֙ba.cha.NitH2595; but heslippedוַיִּפְטַר֙vai.yif.TarH6362awayH5127outH6440ofSaul’sשָׁא֔וּלsha.'UlH7586presenceH6440, and hesmoteוַיַּ֥ךְvai.YakhH5221thespearהַחֲנִ֖יתha.cha.NitH2595intoH2595thewallבַּקִּ֑ירba.KirH7023: andDavidוְדָוִ֛דve.da.VidH1732fledH5127, andescapedוַיִּמָּלֵ֖טvai.yi.ma.LetH4422thatnightבַּלַּ֥יְלָהba.Lay.lahH3915.
