42And when thePhilistineהַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֛יha.pe.lish.TiH6430lookedH7200aboutהָיָ֣הha.YahH1961, andsawH7200Davidדָּוִ֖דda.VidH1732, hedisdainedוַיִּבְזֵ֑הוּvai.yiv.Ze.huH959him: for he was but ayouthנַ֔עַרNa.'arH5288, andruddyוְאַדְמֹנִ֖יve.'ad.mo.NiH132, and withal of afairיְפֵ֥הye.PehH3303countenance.

43And thePhilistineהַפְּלִשְׁתִּי֙ha.pe.lish.TiH6430saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559untoDavidדָּוִ֔דda.VidH1732, Am I adogהֲכֶ֣לֶבha.Khe.levH3611, that thou comest tomeH413with staves? 51ThenDavidדָּ֠וִדDa.vidH1732ranוַיָּ֣רָץvai.Ya.rotzH7323, andstoodוַיַּעֲמֹ֨דvai.ya.'a.ModH5975over thePhilistineהַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֜יha.pe.lish.TiH6430, andtookוַיִּקַּ֣חvai.yi.KachH3947hisswordחַ֠רְבּוֹchar.boH2719, anddrewוַֽיִּשְׁלְפָ֤הּvai.yish.le.FahH8025itoutאֶל־'el-H413of thesheathמִתַּעְרָהּ֙mi.ta'.RahH8593thereof, and slew him, andcutוַיִּכְרָת־vai.yikh.rot-H3772offH3772hisheadרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218therewith. 53And thechildrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֙בוּ֙vai.ya.Shu.vuH7725fromchasingH310afterH310thePhilistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֑יםfe.lish.TimH6430, and they spoiled theircampמַחֲנֵיהֶֽם׃ma.cha.nei.HemH4264.
