12Takeקָחֶ֗נּוּka.Che.nuH3947him, and look wellוְעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ שִׂ֣יםve.'ei.Nei.kha simH7760 H5869to him, and doתַּ֥עַשׂTa.'asH6213him no harmמְא֣וּמָה רָּ֑עme.'U.mah Ra'H7451 H3972;but doעֲשֵׂ֥ה'a.SehH6213unto him even as he shall sayיְדַבֵּ֣רye.da.BerH1696unto thee.

13So Nebuzar–adanנְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ןne.vu.zar.'a.DanH5018the captainרַב־rav-H7227of the guardטַבָּחִ֗יםta.ba.ChimH2876sentוַיִּשְׁלַ֞חvai.yish.LachH7971,and Nebushasbanוּנְבֽוּשַׁזְבָּן֙u.ne.vu.shaz.BanH5021,Rab–sarisH7249,and Nergal–sharezerH5371,Rab–magH7248,and all the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylon’sבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894princesרַבֵּ֥יra.BeiH7227;

14Even they sentוַיִּשְׁלְחוּ֩vai.yish.le.ChuH7971,and tookוַיִּקְח֨וּvai.yik.ChuH3947Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֜הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414out of the courtמֵחֲצַ֣רme.cha.TzarH2691of the prisonהַמַּטָּרָ֗הha.ma.ta.RahH4307,and committedוַיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414him unto Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ge.dal.Ya.huH1436the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֣ם'a.chi.KamH296the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shaphanשָׁפָ֔ןsha.FanH8227,that he should carryלְהוֹצִאֵ֖הוּle.ho.tzi.'E.huH3318him homeהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004:so he dweltוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the peopleהָעָֽם׃ סha.'AmH5971.

16Goהָל֣וֹךְha.LokhH1980and speakוְאָמַרְתָּ֡ve.'a.mar.TaH559to Ebed–melechH5663the Ethiopianהַכּוּשִׁ֜יha.ku.ShiH3569,sayingלֵאמֹ֗רle.MorH559,Thus saithאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559Yhwhיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of Armiesצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478;Behold, I will bringמֵבִ֨יאme.vi'H935my wordsדְּבָרַ֜יde.va.RaiH1697upon this cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892for evilלְרָעָ֖הle.ra.'AhH7451,and not for goodלְטוֹבָ֑הle.to.VahH2896; and they shall be accomplishedin that dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117beforeלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440thee.

17But I will deliverוְהִצַּלְתִּ֥יךָve.hi.tzal.Ti.khaH5337thee in that dayבַיּוֹם־vai.yom-H3117,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:and thou shalt not be givenתִנָּתֵן֙ti.na.TenH5414into the handבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027of the menהָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔יםha.'a.na.ShimH582of whomמִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃mi.pe.nei.HemH6440thou artafraidיָג֖וֹרya.GorH3016.

18For I will surelyמַלֵּט֙ma.LetH4422deliverאֲמַלֶּטְךָ֔'a.ma.let.KhaH4422thee, and thou shalt not fallתִפֹּ֑לti.PolH5307by the swordוּבַחֶ֖רֶבu.va.Che.revH2719,but thy lifeנַפְשְׁךָ֙naf.she.KhaH5315shall be for a preyלְשָׁלָ֔לle.sha.LalH7998unto thee: because thou hast put thy trustבָטַ֥חְתָּva.Tach.taH982in me, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.
