12“Take himקָחֶ֗נּוּka.Che.nuH3947,look afterוְעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ שִׂ֣יםve.'ei.Nei.kha simH5869 H7760himעָלָ֔יו'a.LavH5921,and do notוְאַל־ve.'al-H408let anyמְא֣וּמָהme.'U.mahH3972harmרָּ֑ע כִּ֗יRa' KiH7451 H3588comeתַּ֥עַשׂTa.'asH6213to him;doעֲשֵׂ֥ה'a.SehH6213for himעִמּֽוֹ׃i.MoH5973H518whateverכַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ka.'a.SherH834he saysיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֶ֔יךָ כֵּ֖ןye.da.Ber 'e.Lei.kha kenH1696 H413 H3651.”

13וַיִּשְׁלַ֞חvai.yish.LachH7971So Nebuzaradanנְבֽוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ןne.vu.zar.'a.DanH5018captainרַב־rav-H7227of the guardטַבָּחִ֗יםta.ba.ChimH2876,Nebushazbanוּנְבֽוּשַׁזְבָּן֙u.ne.vu.shaz.BanH5021the RabsarisH7249,Nergal-sharezerH5371the RabmagH7248,and allוְכֹ֖לve.KholH3605the captainsרַבֵּ֥יra.BeiH7227of the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶֽל׃ba.VelH894

14had Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֜הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414broughtוַיִּשְׁלְחוּ֩ וַיִּקְח֨וּvai.yish.le.Chu vai.yik.ChuH7971 H3947אֶֽת־'et-H853from the courtyardמֵחֲצַ֣רme.cha.TzarH2691of the guardהַמַּטָּרָ֗הha.ma.ta.RahH4307,and they turned him overוַיִּתְּנ֤וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414אֹתוֹ֙'o.ToH853toאֶל־'el-H413Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֙הוּ֙ge.dal.Ya.huH1436sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֣ם'a.chi.KamH296,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shaphanשָׁפָ֔ןsha.FanH8227,to takeלְהוֹצִאֵ֖הוּle.ho.tzi.'E.huH3318himאֶל־'el-H413homeהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004.So Jeremiah remainedוַיֵּ֖שֶׁבvai.Ye.shevH3427amongבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432his own peopleהָעָֽם׃ סha.'AmH5971.

15And while Jeremiah had beenהָיָ֣הha.YahH1961confinedעָצ֔וּר'a.TzurH6113in the courtyardבַּחֲצַ֥רba.cha.TzarH2691of the guardהַמַּטָּרָ֖הha.ma.ta.RahH4307,the wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068had comeבִּֽהְיֹת֣וֹbih.yo.ToH1961toוְאֶֽל־ve.'el-H413himיִרְמְיָ֖הוּyir.me.Ya.huH3414לֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559:

16“Goהָל֣וֹךְha.LokhH1980and tellוְאָמַרְתָּ֡ve.'a.mar.TaH559Ebed-melechH5663the Cushite thatהַכּוּשִׁ֜יha.ku.ShiH3569this is whatלֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּֽה־le.Mor koh-H3541 H559the LORDיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068of Hostsצְבָאוֹת֙tze.va.'OtH6635,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הִנְנִי֩Yis.ra.'El hi.NiH3478 H2005,saysאָמַ֞ר'a.MarH559: ‘I am about to fulfillמֵבִ֨יאme.vi'H935אֶת־'et-H853My wordsדְּבָרַ֜יde.va.RaiH1697againstאֶל־'el-H413thisהַזֹּ֛אתha.ZotH2063cityהָעִ֥ירha.'IrH5892for harmלְרָעָ֖הle.ra.'AhH7451and notוְלֹ֣אve.Lo'H3808for goodלְטוֹבָ֑הle.to.VahH2896,and on thatהַהֽוּא׃ha.Hu'H1931dayבַּיּ֥וֹםbai.YomH3117they will be fulfilledוְהָי֥וּve.ha.YuH1961before your eyesלְפָנֶ֖יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440.

17But I will deliver youוְהִצַּלְתִּ֥יךָve.hi.tzal.Ti.khaH5337on thatהַה֖וּאha.Hu'H1931dayבַיּוֹם־vai.yom-H3117,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and you will notוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808be deliveredתִנָּתֵן֙ti.na.TenH5414into the handsבְּיַ֣דbe.YadH3027of the menהָֽאֲנָשִׁ֔יםha.'a.na.ShimH582whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834youאַתָּ֥ה'a.TahH859fearיָג֖וֹר מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ya.Gor mi.pe.nei.HemH3016 H6440.

18Forכִּ֤יkiH3588I will surely rescue youH4422so that you do notלֹ֣אlo'H3808fallתִפֹּ֑לti.PolH5307by the swordוּבַחֶ֖רֶבu.va.Che.revH2719.Becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588you have trustedבָטַ֥חְתָּva.Tach.taH982in Me,you will escapeוְהָיְתָ֨הve.ha.ye.TahH1961withyour lifeנַפְשְׁךָ֙naf.she.KhaH5315like a spoil of warלְשָׁלָ֔לle.sha.LalH7998,declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the LORDיְהוָֽה׃ סYah.wehH3068.’”
