26As the thiefגַּנָּב֙ga.NavH1590is ashamedכְּבֹ֤שֶׁתke.Vo.shetH1322when he is foundיִמָּצֵ֔אyi.ma.Tze'H4672,so is the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478ashamedH3001;they, their kingsמַלְכֵיהֶם֙mal.khei.HemH4428,their princesשָֽׂרֵיהֶ֔םsa.rei.HemH8269,and their priestsוְכֹהֲנֵיהֶ֖םve.kho.ha.nei.HemH3548,and their prophetsוּנְבִיאֵיהֶֽם׃u.ne.vi.'ei.HemH5030,

27Sayingאֹמְרִ֨ים'o.me.RimH559to a stockלָעֵ֜ץla.'EtzH6086, Thou artmy fatherאָ֣בִי'A.viH1;and to a stoneוְלָאֶ֙בֶן֙ve.la.'E.venH68,Thou hast brought me forthיְלִדְתָּ֔נוּye.lid.ti.nuH3205:for they have turnedפָנ֥וּfa.NuH6437theirbackעֹ֖רֶף'O.refH6203unto me, and not theirfaceפָנִ֑יםfa.NimH6440:but in the timeוּבְעֵ֤תu.ve.'EtH6256of their troubleרָֽעָתָם֙ra.'a.TamH7451they will sayיֹֽאמְר֔וּyo.me.RuH559,Ariseק֖וּמָהKu.mahH6965,and saveוְהוֹשִׁיעֵֽנוּ׃ve.ho.shi.'E.nuH3467us.

28But where arethy godsאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430that thou hast madeעָשִׂ֣יתָ'a.Si.taH6213thee? let them ariseיָק֕וּמוּya.Ku.muH6965,if they can saveיוֹשִׁיע֖וּךָyo.shi.'U.khaH3467thee in the timeבְּעֵ֣תbe.'EtH6256of thy troubleרָעָתֶ֑ךָra.'a.Te.khaH7451: for according tothe numberמִסְפַּ֣רmis.ParH4557of thy citiesעָרֶ֔יךָ'a.Rei.khaH5892are thy godsאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,O Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ סye.hu.DahH3063.

29Wherefore will ye pleadתָרִ֖יבוּta.Ri.vuH7378with me? ye all have transgressedפְּשַׁעְתֶּ֥םpe.sha'.TemH6586against me, saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002Yhwhיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.
