Jeremiah 36:20-32

27Then the wordH1697 of the LordH3068 cameH1961 to JeremiahH3414 afterH310 the kingH4428 had 12burnedH8313 the scrollH4039 and the wordsH1697 whichH834 13BaruchH1263 had writtenH3789 14at the dictationH6310 of JeremiahH3414, sayingH559, 28“15TakeH3947 againH7725 anotherH312 scrollH4039 and writeH3789 on it allH3605 the previousH7223 wordsH1697 that were 16on the firstH7223 scrollH4039, whichH834 JehoiakimH3079 the kingH4428 of JudahH3063 burnedH8313. 29And concerningH5921 JehoiakimH3079 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 you shall sayH559, ‘ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559: “You have 17burnedH8313 thisH2088 scrollH4039, sayingH559, ‘18WhyH4069 have you writtenH3789 on it 19that the 20kingH4428 of BabylonH894 will certainlyH935 comeH935 and destroyH7843 thisH2088 landH776, and will make mankindH120 and animalsH929 disappearH7673 from it?’” 30ThereforeH3651 thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559 concerningH5921 JehoiakimH3079 kingH4428 of JudahH3063: “He shall haveH1961 21noH3808 one to sitH3427 on the throneH3678 of DavidH1732, and his 22deadH5038 bodyH5038 shall be thrownH7993 outH7993 to the heatH2721 of the dayH3117 and the frostH7140 of the nightH3915. 31I will also 23punishH6485 him, his 24descendantsH2233, and his servantsH5650 for their wrongdoingH5771, and I will 25bringH935 on them and the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389 and the peopleH376 of JudahH3063 allH3605 the disasterH7463 that I have declaredH1696 to them--but they did not listenH8085.”’”

32Then JeremiahH3414 tookH3947 anotherH312 scrollH4039 and gaveH5414 it to the scribeH5613 BaruchH1263 the sonH1121 of NeriahH5374, and he 26wroteH3789 on it at the 27dictationH6310 of JeremiahH3414 allH3605 the wordsH1697 of the bookH5612 whichH834 JehoiakimH3079 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 had burnedH8313 in the fireH784; and manyH7227 28similar wordsH1697 were addedH3254 to them.
