Jeremiah 14:10-16

10ThisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559 to thisH2088 peopleH5971: “SoH3651 muchH3651 they have 1lovedH157 to wanderH5128; they have not 2restrainedH2820 their feetH7272. Therefore the LordH3068 does 3not acceptH7521 them; nowH6258 He will 4rememberH2142 their wrongdoingH5771 and callH6485 their sinsH2403 toH6485 accountH6485.” 11So the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, “5Do not prayH6419 for a goodH2899 outcomeH2899 on behalfH1157 of thisH2088 peopleH5971. 12WhenH3588 they fastH6684, I am 6not going to listenH8085 to their cryH7440; and whenH3588 they offerH5927 7burntH5930 offeringH5930 and grain offeringH4503, I am not going to acceptH7521 them. RatherH3588, I am going to 8putH3615 anH3615 endH3615 toH3615 them by the 9swordH2719, famineH7458, and plagueH1698.”

13But I saidH559, “OhH162, LordH136 10GodH3068! BeholdH2009, the prophetsH5030 are tellingH559 them, ‘You 11will not seeH7200 a swordH2719, norH3808 will you haveH1961 famineH7458; onH3588 theH3588 contraryH3588, I will giveH5414 you lastingH571 12peaceH7965 in thisH2088 placeH4725.’” 14Then the LordH3068 saidH559 to me, “The 13prophetsH5030 are prophesyingH5012 falsehoodH8267 in My nameH8034. 14I have neitherH3808 sentH7971 them norH3808 commandedH6680 them, norH3808 spokenH1696 to them; they are prophesyingH5012 to you a 15falseH8267 visionH2377, divinationH7081, futilityH457, and the deceptionH8649 of their own 16mindsH3820. 15ThereforeH3651 thisH3541 isH3541 whatH3541 the LordH3068 saysH559 concerningH5921 the prophetsH5030 who are prophesyingH5012 in My nameH8034, although it was not I who sentH7971 them--yet they keep sayingH559: ‘There will be noH3808 swordH2719 or famineH7458 in thisH2088 landH776’--17by swordH2719 and famineH7458 thoseH1992 prophetsH5030 shall meetH8552 their endH8552! 16And the peopleH5971 to whomH834 they are prophesyingH5012 will be 18thrownH7993 outH7993 into the streetsH2351 of JerusalemH3389 becauseH4480H6440 of the famineH7458 and the swordH2719; and thereH369 willH369 beH369 noH369 oneH369 to 19buryH6912 them--neither them, nor their wivesH802, norH369 their sonsH1121, norH369 their daughtersH1323. For I will 20pourH8210 outH8210 their own wickednessH7463 upon them.
